I bought this as a gift for my daughter. She loves it! It is getting weekly use as she has a dog cookie business and she dehydrates them before bagging them up. I highly recommend this food dehydrator!

Now the company wants me to ship it back and pay the shipping. This didn't work when I got it. The fan fins seemed to be bent because it made a huge racket like they were hitting something. So glad I read the box before I unpacked it because it tells you to keep it because you will need it for a return. The company also said I would need the video again lucky I read the box. It just seems odd that they would put this information on the box. How many returns do they get that they need to do this. I thought this would be covered by Amazon's 30 day return policy. They have contacted the manufacture and they are suppose to respond in days.

I researched many different dehydrator models. I liked the features of this one: 850 watts, large trays, and simple controls that are mounted on top of the unit. I also really like the 4 viewing windows; it has a window on top, on both sides, and in front, a very nice feature. It has recessed handles on each side, very convenient. I have used it for making jerky and also dog treats. I love the results I am getting; it is very efficient in the dehydrating process. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. Oh, it is also very easy to clean.

Good so far. Have only done mangoes and beef jerky. Machine performs well, but I dont think its was built for american consumers. The recipe book is full of unfamiliar food and the temp goes up and down in weird increments. Don't really care for the display either but its manageable. It does come with 10 nice trays and features usually reserved for pricier dehydrators, so the minor annoyances are probably worth it.
