Mally makes fabulous cosmetics and I have been using them for many years. This stick is easy to put on and before it dries is very blendable. It lasts all day. This color is mildly sheer however it does give a nice amount of coverage. Definitely not a dark shade. I usually combine with something slightly darker on the eyelid. ... show more

Color: 29 Deep Ocean Matte - Matte dark blue
This is the third color of these shadow sticks I've purchased and I love it! It's a great, deep, navy blue that is easy to create a thinner to thick line on the upper lid and is easy to smudge to create a lighter color or depth when layering colors. It stays well once set. I've gone swimming with other colors and they didn't smear all over my face but remained exactly as applied after a long swim! (I don't think I rubbed my eyes or dried my face with a towel but when I went into the bathroom I realized I had makeup on that I had forgotten about! Impressive!) Uodate: (picture taken Sept. 2024) I put the shadow stick on eyelids and under eyes at around 7:30 AM. This pic was taken at nearly 3 PM. I took it off around 7 or 8 PM. It held up, no shifting or disappearing or melting into my eyelids. I was skeptical if it would set and last, but it really did. I've worn it with a base shadow and applied the stick just to my eyelids. I've also just applied it straight on my lids. I wore it for over 8 hours both of these times. It did not crease or disappear. (I have a somewhat neutral color that kind of blends with my skin so I couldn't get a great pic (I'll try again at some point.) My eyelids do get oily. I've tried the NYX eyeshadow pencil/stick and within a few hours, it creased and pretty much disappeared. Mally really wasn't kidding when she says "bulletproof". Once it set, I couldn't just rub it off with my finger. I'm very happy with this shadow stick. ... show more

My mother-in-law gets me these Mally eyeshadow sticks every Christmas because she knows I love them, but she always chooses darker colors. I wanted a nice light color to blend with them and this serves that purpose. This particular shade isn't as creamy as others (hence the 4-Star review), but once blended with the others, it's not as sticky as it is alone. ... show more
