I purchased this hammock prior to my summer trip to West Virginia, with plans to hammock frequently throughout the summer. I ordered it from MalloMe, and I have been incredibly pleased with the product that I received. I believe that you will have no problems when it comes to this product, no matter your personal ability or age; it is perfect for all demographics. I used a few criteria to evaluate the hammock that I received: durability, comfort, and ease of setup. In terms of durability, the product I received has aged well. I used it frequently throughout the summer in many different weather conditions, and there is no way to tell. The color has not faded or stretched, and the hammock has no signs of wear or tear. The stitching has remained intact, and the fabric is still in pristine condition despite usage. It also has a sack stitched into the side to hold items such as keys, phone, or other valuables for ease of not only storage but usage once inside the hammock. In regards to comfort, the hammock from MalloMe is an extra-large hammock suited for two people. I have used the product not only with another individual, but also solo, and in both aspects it has been relatively comfortable. One thing I have noticed throughout usage is when two individuals are using the product, it is more uncomfortable and tight than it would be if you were solo. However, this product will always be more comfortable solo; and it is easy to make it comfortable for both individuals again based on rearranging positioning within the hammock. It also held both of us up with no problem; it did not feel weak or as if we would fall through the product. The first place in which I discovered an issue with this product was during the evaluation of ease of setup. It did not come with everything required to set it up; it was missing hammock straps, which in reality is a poor choice in regards to distribution. When my hammock arrived, I was unable to use it until I had also ordered a set of hammock straps, which were not all that easy to find in my small college town. Aside from this, once I had obtained straps the hammock was incredibly easy to setup, and can be used in many locations, even those without many trees, due to its large size. There are many positive characteristics to this product. Not only is it incredibly durable in a variety of weather and environments, but it is large and comfortable. When laying inside by myself, I was able to fully cover myself as if the excess were a blanket. Although it came without straps, once I sorted this dilemma out its setup was incredibly fast and easy. Other than this criteria, there are also other positives. Considering the size of the product, it is very lightweight and compact; making it perfect to take with you to any location at any time. More so, for the product you receive, the current price of $26.99 is a bargain, as you will not have to purchase another.

This hammock is pretty nice. I got it to replace the eno my kids broke . I am definitely going to be getting another one. The material seems strong. It does have a little more texture then the eno but I don't mind that. I love that it included the straps and they where ready to set up. and that the bag that is attached to put the hammock in when done is a much bigger size then my other hammock. I can't wait to take it with us to the beach, camping and just hanging out in the yard.

I've used this product for backpacking and overnight trips since 2017. I bought it initially because at the time it was the biggest cheap parachute hammock I could find. I have ended up purchasing hundreds of dollars worth of accessories before feeling the need to upgrade the hammock. It's a great basic piece of kit, but you will at the very least want to get some tree huggers to go with it, tying off with the included rope is harmful to trees and probably a bad idea in general unless you are competent at rigging. That being said, I immediately fell in love with this thing, in spite of nearly freezing my ass off during my first overnight attempt. I got tree straps, a bug net, tarp, under and over quilts, basically I tricked out my whole setup until I was left with only one thing left to improve: the hammock itself. There are great books and entire youtube channels devoted to properly rigging a hammock, you can't just hang it between two trees and expect to be comfortable. A huge factor in this is proper angle of suspension and a ridgeline, this allows you to get a shape where you can lay nearly flat. After devoting hours of practice to improving the "lay" of this hammock, I feel like I have reached the functional limit to my comfort. That, and after nearly three years this bad boy is finally getting threadbare in spots and perhaps a bit overstretched, so I'm going for an even longer hammock with an integrated bug net. I think this will still get used as a spare, as it's super awesome to drop into a day pack for going to the beach, hiking, even rigging up between mangrove trees in Hawaii, which is the last place I set this up. It's relatively lightweight, super cheap, and for the price it allowed me to zero in on exactly how I want to sleep in the woods, which is to say, not laying on rocks.

I’m a pretty intense hammock user and I know my way around the hammock brands. However when I came across MalloMe, I wasn’t sure why I’ve Never heard of them before. It turns out this isn’t a very old business and it is FAMILY OWNED. That’s huge for a family business to take off like this and I always like supporting and seeing a thriving (small) business. Anyway down to the review. I received my hammock and straps 2 days after I purchased them thanks to amazon prime and was very pleased when I opened the box to nice packaging and a nice little “how to” card. I’m not sure why a brand this big wouldn’t include some MalloMe stickers but like yeti and GoPro and eno and any other big brand for products. But it’s whatever. I hung my straps and hammock right when I received them and was happy to say it was a huge hammock. Bigger than my eno Doublenest. I already knew it would be because I did research but it was still exciting to have a big hammock. I’m about 6 feet long and it fit me perfectly. Anyway I was swinging in the hammock and everything and the straps held up to their standards. I did have a problem later on with the hammock itself but the customer support was amazingly good and it was fixed within 3 days. If I were to recommend a brand, it would be eno. But if I were to put the top brands in order from best to worst, MalloMe would be right under eno. I love it. Here is my comparison to enos Doublenest hammock and MalloMes extra large hammock. Similarities • Both could easily fit three maybe four people in them • Both are made with triple stitching on both the hammock and the straps • Both come in different color hammocks • Both have attached storage bags on the hammocks • Both come with carabiners when buying the hammock. While MalloMe also includes extra carabiners in the strap package. Eno doesn’t include extra in theirs strap bag (oops that’s not a similarity) • Both are rated to hold at least 2 people Differences • Eno is softer material and has slightly better quality in their stitching and carabiners • Eno Doublenest is rated for 400 pounds while MalloMe holds 1000 (I wouldn’t test 4-6 people in it though 😂) • Eno includes top quality wire hook carabiners while MalloMe has lower quality hooks that still work • MalloMe has 10/10 customer service and will win you over instantly while eno has a larger customer base and can’t cater to everyone • Eno has more colors and more attatchment options such as the under hammock storage, the insect safe guard, and the rain tarp while MalloMe has the necessities like straps and hammocks and the rain guard. • MalloMe straps are longer and have more attatchnent options than eno does and it provides you with more possibilities (ex: thicc trees, or farther distances, or even stronger support if you wrap the slack around the tree and attach the hammock to one of the end loops) Overall this review is way too long but I wanted to give my full experience with MalloMe and suggest that you look no further than this review. Buy one! HECK, Buy 2 or 3! You won’t be disappointed.

I love it! Although sadly I have not gotten to use yet as it’s still pretty cold in Ohio. The material is sturdy a tried to rip it right at the stitching as soon as I got it unfolded and it didn’t budge the material is very strong and the stitching is fantastic usually that’s a weak spot on most hammocks. Another thing I was pleasantly surprised about was the fact that I didn’t have to spend 30 minutes tightly folding and pushing air out of each fold to get it back in the original bag (which by the way is awesome that it’s built onto the hammock itself to double as a storage bag at your side while using the hammock) but it goes back in with little effort just a few fold overs and a firm roll back to the bag. The Metal carabiners also seem very sturdy as well at the straps they are on. The last thing is you’ve even included a nice sturdy tie off rope or ridge line rope so out of the bag you have a functioning hammock with no extras required. For the price this is one awesome hammock in my opinion in terms of quality this will beat out any other hammock in this price range and probably even a lot of the more expensive ones. Again I have not fully tested it yet but just feeling the material in my hands I don’t think there will be any issues with durability and with as light as it is that’s hard to find thank you for offering such a great product and I look forward to doing business with “MalloMe” in the future.

Great product, as a large guy 6ft (initially 450# now down to 340#) it's been hard to find a good and safe hammock. This one absolutely fit the bill. I initially used it for a few nights back when I still weighted 450#+. It was comfortable and held up great. I just used it this summer at camp with my scouts. I'd lost over 120# and it was even more comfortable. I spent 6 straight nights in it, and it was the best sleep I've gotten camping. You can't beat this price as well. It's a heck of a deal.

Let me preface this review as to that I am new to the hammock systems for camping. I have tent camped for over 20 years and have all the gear that I need for the tents, until something new or interesting comes along and I was looking to lighten up my hiking pack and not have to take a tent. So, hammock camping, here I come.... So far, so good. I have only really set this up 2 times. The first, was with the ropes that were provided with the hammock. I personally did not feel that they were going to support the hammock properly. So, I ordered a set of Hammock Straps and those came to me on Sunday via USPS since I have Amazon Prime 2-day delivery. I took to a wooded area, found a suitable place to set this up. With the Hammock Straps, the hammock was up in no more than 3 minutes. I strung a ridge-line and staked out one of my existing rain flies which maybe took 2 minutes. I was laying in the hammock in under 10 minutes from finding the two trees that I wanted to swing between. I found this hammock very easy to get in/out of. As well, as to position yourself in. I really believe this is going to a very comfortable experience from the short time I spent in this hammock on Sunday afternoon. My Granddaughter really liked it too... she wants to go camping with papaw now.... she cried when we took it down....
