  • Inexpensive TIME SAVER
Style: 24 pcs Wire Tensioner
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Price alone brought me to these ratchet strainers. My first dozen were so satisfactory I ordered 2 doz. more. If you are building H braces or short stretches these strainer can save you an immense amount of time. While they do stretch barb wire, I’m using barbless on my braces and that works especially well with these ratchets. An adjustable wrench works just fine with them. Sorry, a 1/2 in socket drive does not fit. By the way, the axel of the reel has 2 holes, side by side. These are positioned so that the strands of barb or barbless wire fit easily. God point because the individual strands are much easier to deal with than the two together. A very satisfying purchase. ... show more

  • Don't buy these! They are TERRIBLE, low quality, very thin and too wide.
Style: 24 pcs Wire Tensioner
These are so thin they bend when you try to rotate the wire around them. We purchased 2 packs of 24 and we've used two of the 48. They are so horrible; I'm considering cutting the wire off of them and returning every last one! If you have even one pasture, do not use these!

  • Not as pictured
Style: 24 pcs Wire Tensioner
Bought because the photos show a hole in the tip of the small end. They do NOT have a hole there.
