Just got it. Love it. Didn't use until I took it to the Ga. Aquarium. Did great. There are a few steep inclines there, but it pulled everyone of them on the first speed level. I found as of right now that is plenty fast enough. We were there for about 6 hours and the battery light never decreased. Things I would recommend changing: The joystick is bolted to the arm rest of your choice, and is not an easy change. The foot rest is not very sturdy. Do not apply much pressure. It will roll when stopped if you do not apply breaks. So far it is what I needed. Wish it could be lighter, but I wanted the bigger wheels and no one offers light weight with the bigger wheels. ... show more

    • No lock and key, anti theft device.
Overall a good product. My only concern is that because there is no key to turn it on and off, you can’t park it and leave. Some one can just ride off with it. This is a problem for semi mobile people, who only need it for distance .

This was a gift for what would have been otherwise a housebound gentleman. I wish I could have given this 4.8 stars, not 5, for a little initial problem. But the problem was not worth losing a whole star. After just an initial problem trying to get the footrest to fit on the chair, for which the customer service was exemplary also (it needed my husband to grate down a very tiny bit of metal to get it to fit), it was GREAT for our friend. He was so happy. It bought him freedom to leave his home and toodle around the small town we live in. It was so great for the town to see him out and about! The battery kept the charge for him for a few hours at least, not sure what the maximum hours have been, as he went around town (but he had to remember to plug it in every night), and it was easy for him to learn to use. The only problem was that it turned out that the rear wheels are NOT solid, as had been accidentally advertised on the Amazon site when I bought it, so he just got a flat. The company did an extremely quick and professional apology, both texting me (at my request) and writing to me, and calling me, to make sure I got their response. They quickly fixed the error in the Ad, (which is now accurate in all ways) and is sending by 2 Day mailing 2 inner tubes, for us to help him fix it if he wants to wait for the tubes. The customer service rep told me that any bike shop could also fix it, if our friend wants us to bring the chair to a bike shop. I was super impressed with the customer service, and have no doubt that this was simply an error on somebody's editing of the Ad part. And, to be honest, if I had been a wiser person, I would have realized that there was no way those rear tires could have been solid, or else a person would feel every single tiny bump as they rolled along. I looked at so many chairs trying to find the perfect one that wasn’t too expensive. HERE IS THE LOWDOWN…I am 270 lbs and I am 5ft2in. I needed a lightweight chair that could carry my big butt and this one fit the specifications. I love it, I fit in it and it is easy to maneuver around some narrow doorways and halls. It isn’t so light that I can pick it up and put it in and out of my car but if I go with someone strong they can do it for me. I can stand for a few minutes but am unable to walk because of a hip problem so I rely on this heavily. It seems sturdy enough that it will probably withstand the heavy usage (time will tell). It was easy to put together by watching instructions on similar chairs because the manual only tells you how to unfold and fold for use but not how to unpackage it from the box and put it together. There was a note that I need to watch a YouTube video and the name of that video but I searched for 20 minutes and there were NONE on THIS model so I don’t know why they continue to give it out when it’s not there. Biggest problem I have is this backup beeper!! It is loud (I will post a video of how loud) and it literally wakes up the whole house if I dare to wake up and have to use the restroom or get up early. It is annoying enough that I wouldn’t have bought it had I known and I almost want to send it back because of it. I’m trying to find a way to shut it down first though. Last issue is the “magnetic brakes” feel very strange and the chair doesn’t just stop when you take your hand off the control and it feels a little untrustworthy. The chair is very comfortable and it comes with great cushions. It also comes with an adapter for the charger port that has a USB port and possibly a light on it? Very quiet when going forward and so smooth! If I back out of doorways the chair drives right over the lip with no problem. So basically it is a love/hate thing…the thing I hate is pretty much a deal breaker unfortunately. ... show more

    • Very Happy with this Chair
My wife had a stroke about a year and a half ago. It has left her paralyzed on her left side and wheelchair bound. We ordered this chair to give her some mobility on her own. It has been exactly what she needed. Prior to this chair, she could never come shopping with me because I couldn't push her and the cart at the same time. Now she comes along and just enjoys getting out of the house. She was able to use it to go to our sons baseball games. The field was quite a ways from the parking lot with rough terrain in between. It was a challenge to push her in her wheelchair to the field. This chair handled the terrain without much trouble. The chair can easily go up and down the ramp at our house. The joystick controller is fairly sensitive but she figured out pretty quickly. The battery life is great so far. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone with mobility issues. ... show more

We bought the wheel chair for a parent. The package arrived intact, and it was very easy to assemble. The assembly directions were not as detailed as we’d have liked, but we’re able to get it done with reference to the photo on the box. Initial impressions by the user were favorable.
