The scent is a little unusual, but not bad or noxious like practically every other styling cream I've tried -- it stays with you about an hour after application, then fades...that's better than other creams I've tried that are so noxious. I have thick hair, about shoulder length, and the product seems to have a light hold and a little shine, its also good for controlling frizz. For me, it's perfect for having my hair slicked back. It has a great light scent too. I just think the price is too much for a product like this.

I have tried multiple hair cream products from different brands but nothing beats the Malin + Goetz styling cream. It has a hint of sage smell and holds hair just enough to keep it from frizzing and yet not sticky. It is a great alternative to pomade or hair wax especially for those looking to have a natural looking hair. The hair cream does have a mild hold though, so one tip would be to do a round of hairspray after setting it with the hair cream first, particularly on windy days or before a Friday night out. ... show more
