I have thick hair, about shoulder length, and the product seems to have a light hold and a little shine, its also good for controlling frizz. For me, it's perfect for having my hair slicked back. It has a great light scent too. I just think the price is too much for a product like this.

This is probably the best styling cream I've ever used, weighing all factors. It provides a light, natural hold and moisturizes too. The scent is a little unusual, but not bad or noxious like practically every other styling cream I've tried -- it stays with you about an hour after application, then fades...that's better than other creams I've tried that are so noxious. So, since it works well, softens the hair, and the smell is pretty good and not overbearing, this is a winner. ... show more

A 3 for now. Have not tried it yet, but the sage scent is very strong. Rubbed a little on my hand to see if the scent would fade a bit, but not so far. I’ll try on my hair when I have no place to go and will follow up.

He has a tendency to have one stubborn cowlick that makes him look rather unkempt , and if he uses this hair pomade , which is neither greasy or stiff, it will simply make his hair behave. Researching hair styling creams / gels for folks with gray hair like mine (@ almost 65 years young) The MALIN+GOETZ Sage Styling Cream was rated one of the best !! And I now see why. Those other creams would leave my hair feeling like I was washing out wet leaves 🍁 in my hair … yuck ! Bottom line is this product not only works great, it doesn’t take nearly as long as much as other creams.
