If you have build up that you need to get out of your hair, this is the product. It is very clarifying, so I recommend following up with a moisturizering shampoo and conditioner after use. My styles come out so much better once I use this to get my stands clean. Cannot recommend enough.

My stylist was not impressed with the look and feel of my hair after I used a clarifying shampoo on it as she instructed. It had strange feel to it and still felt like there was residue from styling products and sprays in it. She actually poured me some of this Malibu C Un-Do-Goo into a cup and told me to go home and wash my hair with it and so I did. The difference was amazing. My hair felt baby soft and completely free of all residue and build up. It was so shiny and not at all dry which is my hesitation with using other clarifying shampoos more than once in a while. I immediately bought a bottle and I have used it twice since. It gets rid of everything in my hair but doesn't strip the color at all. It leaves my hair soft and ready for coloring. My color absorbs better and more evenly and looks great. I don't know why this is so much better than other clarifying shampoos but I will be buying it for as long as it is available. It's a lifesaver for my hair that is always dragged down by the stuff I put in it to give it volume! A big plus is that it is so gentle that even people like me with very dry, color treated, fragile hair can use it with no additional damage. ... show more

I use this stuff on my long, naturally curly hair to cleanse away product buildup once monthly or so. I do not follow the Curly Girl Method and never have, personally I find this to work well to clean product residue off my hair. It is not too moisturizing (it's not really meant to be as it is a clarifying shampoo) and so one needs to condition really well afterwards or use a hair mask or leave-in depending. It smells of oranges and I think it smells pretty, very cheerful. I use it with other products by other brands, this is the only product I use by this company and I must say it works well for what I want and need it to do. I had a lot of build up on my scalp and roots but after two washes it cleared up everything. And I had the buildup for a while before I used this so I was pleasantly surprised how quickly it solved the problem.
