Really cute plates and bowls—we also have the matching planters! We love the subtle patterns and the fact that each set is a different variation on a similar pattern. They are quite heavy and each piece is a good size. The bowls work for salad, soup, cereal etc, and the two sizes of plates give you some options. We are sad that one of the salad plates broke 😞 we’ll likely try to find a replacement plate.

What a fun set of dishes! They have a really nice weight to them - not heavy, but they feel solid and seem high quality. We have had issues in the past with dishes getting really hot in the microwave and this was not an issue with this set. Also, sometimes with textured dishes you'll start seeing scrapes from using silverware (especially knives) and so far we have no seen any of that. Very fun having the different patterns - we love the subtle differences between all of them. A great set!

I bought this set since my son is moving out and taking all my plates with him. I figured a simple little set would suffice and I wasn't wrong; these plates are both beautiful and practical. They have a lovely design on them, making them unique, but they stack together and really save space on the shelf. (I don't really like how the pattern goes all the way into the plate instead of just around the rim, but that's just a me thing. The plates still function well so that's what matters.) Also, they're safe to put in both the dishwasher and microwave, which is a huge plus in my book. Overall, this is a great set if you're just starting out or in my case, starting again. I love these dishes! They're quaint and cute. I particularly love the raised texture and that they're all different from each other! They color scheme and similar pattern styles pull this set together. I love that. It has a weight to it that denotes good quality and durability, but at the same time a bit of fragility, though like any other pottery. These are great for everyday dishes or a small get-together. Many of them would be great for a chic dinner party or hosting for the holidays.

While these dishes are unique and have a type of style, the raised bumps on the eating surfaces make eating from them a bit awkward and make it hard to clean. Although I'm sure that some people may not find this to be objectionable, I found that I did not enjoy using them, and enjoyed cleaning them even less. I'm guessing that after a long. Of use, the glaze over the bumpy parts will wear out, but I will not use them long enough to find out. This is definitely a niche product, if it's your preference to have bumpy services to eat off of, then this might be a good choice for you. If not, it would probably be better to choose a different set to use.

Dinnerware set it made well and looks amazing. The patterns are nice and the set is very durable. I had no issues running them through my dishwasher and my whole family loves them. Malacasa makes some of the prettiest dishes you will ever find, but I personally don't think this particular set is worth the premium price, even compared to their own different lines of 12 piece sets. The dishes are solid but not too heavy. You get 4 each of the cereal sized bowl, small plate, and dinner-size plate. The pieces all have whimsical patterns and raised texture on all surfaces.
