These fit my Makita weed trimmer perfectly. Would have been 5 stars but the replacements have a thin sheet metal cap to protect the feed button from wear.     • Works much better than the OEM that came with the trimmer
I couldnt bump the original head to release any line. I'd have to stop, pull it apart, pull more string, and put it all back together. Numerous times in a trimming session. This new head bumps and just works. Zero complaints other than do it on soft ground because it may break.

Don't your time ordering this because it doesn't come with a spring on the inside. I read the reviews and someone had mentioned that they also got one without a spring in it. I had thought that maybe it was a random mistake. Nope. I also got one with no spring in it. How is one suppose to use this when there is no spring to be able to bump to feed the string. Absolutely worthless. I immediately returned this for a refund and will search elsewhere to find one with a spring. ... show more
