I bought this vanity for my 10 year old granddaughter and she absolutely loves it. It is a good size for her room and has plenty of storage areas for all of her beauty items. It wasn't too difficult to put together, but does take some time. I put it together by myself but definitely having two sets of hands would have been much easier. The product advertises "light bulbs," but these are actually just a string of LED lights inside of a spherical plastic casing meant to resemble a bulb. I specifically avoided purchasing other vanity desks with built-in LED lights that would have been MUCH easier to assemble. But I wanted a vanity desk with actual light bulbs because I want to be able to replace an individual bulb when it burns out. I can't replace the entire string of LEDs when the LED controller eventually fails. Additionally, the "bulbs" are not part of the mirror. You have to sticky-tape them on yourself, and they don't even provide guides for where to mount them. I had to break out a ruler and do some 8th grade math to line these up nicely. (And they did end up looking very nice.) Getting that gripe out of the way, everything else about the desk is very nice. It feels sturdy. It stands straight. It took forever to assemble, but it at least looks very nice. Most importantly, my daughter absolutely loves it!! There was a manufacturing mistake in one of the bolts. Thankfully they give you multiple spares of every bolt and screw! Thank you! Before I realized there were spares I reached out to the customer support email address asking for extras. I emailed them 4 days ago and have not heard back yet. Lastly, they want you to plug the string of LED lights into the USB port on the front of the desk. I felt this was kind of cheap. I don't like the idea of a USB cable permanently draped across the front of the desk. I drilled two inconspicuous holes so I could run the cable behind the desk where it could not be seen (see pictures). If you have a drill, I recommend doing this. The instructions were easy to follow (until you get to the "bulbs"), but it will take days to assemble this if you want it to look nice. ... show more

I absolutely love this vanity table! It did take me almost 4-5 hours to put together because the instructions sucked. But the product itself is an excellent bargain for the price I paid for it. Giving this three stars because nails were too short for the handles and on the backboard of the desk the holes didn’t line up. Also the instructions were misprinted for a couple of the steps causing confusion. Took 4+ hours to put together

My 13 year old daughter wanted a vanity and I searched Amazon for month before finding this one. The reviews were good so I took a chance. Most people indicated that it took 6 hours to assemble. I am somewhat handy and it only took my about 4 hours. I first took all the parts out of the box which was well packed and protected and layed them out in my work area. It seemed overwhelming at first however the instructions are very clear and walk you through every step. It started coming together within the first twenty minutes. All you need is a cordless screwdriver/drill with a Philips head with the torque set to around 3-4 so you don't over tighten the screws. You will also need a short Phillip's screwdriver, that's it. This vanity is good quality Sauder wood and is sturdy. The only complaint I have is the lights with visible cords. I did my best to wind them up and space them out evenly. I also drilled a 7/8 inch hole in the back for the USB plug so it wasn't stretched across the front and plugged into the existing USB. The lights are on a string and we did not notice that in the photos until we went back and looked. The process of putting it together took my husband and myself about 3 hours.
