This binding machine is a great little tool if you do a lot of organizing, school projects, or office paperwork. It feels sturdy and has a nice weight to it, so it doesn’t slide around while you’re punching pages. The handle moves smoothly and the punch is strong. It really does handle around 15 sheets at a time without jamming, which makes the whole process faster. I'm using it to bundle my kids preschool and kindergarten projects to keep as memories. The comb system is easy to use. You just line up your pages, punch, and then open the comb to slide everything in. It comes with 100 plastic combs, which is a huge bonus because you can start binding right away without buying extras. The guides on the machine help keep everything centered so your pages don’t end up crooked. This comb binding machine does work, but I have the same issue with it that I had with another MAKEASY binding machine. It is advertised as being able to punch up to 15 sheets at once, but even the instructions advise using fewer than that. In actual use, around 8 sheets seems much more realistic if you want the punching process to go smoothly. Once you get closer to the advertised maximum, the lever becomes extremely difficult to press and it feels like you have to put your whole body weight into it just to get the pages punched. That makes larger binding projects take much longer because you have to separate everything into small stacks instead of being able to punch a decent amount of paper at once. The machine is still useful for smaller projects, and the binding function itself is convenient to have at home, but I think the stated punch capacity gives buyers the wrong expectation. I am giving it three stars because it is functional, but the realistic sheet capacity is much lower than what is advertised.

This is a great quality, heavy-duty comb binding machine that makes it quick & easy to assemble professional looking reports, booklets, home school materials, and more. It measures about 14.5"x10" inches, and it has a solid metal base that rests flat on a desk without shifting or lifting during operation. It can handle punching up to 12-15 sheets of 20lb printer paper or 2-3 sheets of 80lb cardstock paper at a time. The cuts are clean and the lever has enough leverage to make the task easy. You may have to think for a minute on how the comb-opening mechanism works, but the little fingers spread the comb out and you can easily slip your paper on to it. If you need to bind up loose leaf paper and you want something a little more elegant or cheaper per unit than report covers, this is perfect. I don' t know how durable it is, I'm not willing to test it outside normal use, but the directions do say to only pick it up by the base. So, this may be an indicator that you may not want to drag it around or swing it by the handle.

This is a great addition to my home office. I can use this in my small business as well as in my kids school projects. It looks easy enough to use, although I have not used it yet. It is very sturdy and has a good weight, so the quality seems amazing.
