I do not have any problems using this foil glue. The listing made me think I was getting one glue and one prep—- it was two foil glue. It’s fine because I will use it. Months ago I bought one single bottle to try and came back for more.

Been a nail tech since 2013, recently got into foil transfer and ive tried a couple different glues most dont work properly. I got this one in hopes this is what will work for me and so far its been great. they are two full size bottles and i use for multiple things because its a great tackiness you get after curing. i use this for foil transfer and to stick my dried flowers in place before laying acrylic over them. 5 star for me ... show more

So it worked, but my nails didn't turn out looking professionally done. I think it's my technique. I'll have to try again. Nail on the left was after applying foil once. It was spotty, so the nail on the right was after applying the foil twice. That came out terribly. I applied transfer and cured for 60 secs. Applied foil, then cured for 30 secs. Finally, foil gel that works! I'm very happy with this product because it works so well and doesn't break the bank. (You get 2 full sized bottles!) Follow the directions and I think you'll be pleased too. It's so easy to use- I brushed an even, thin layer onto my prepared nails and cured under my LED lamp for 60 seconds, waited about 30 more seconds to allow the foil gel to get real sticky, pressed the foil, pretty side up, onto the gel and used my finger to smooth the foil all over the nail including sidewalls and cuticle area. Some like using a silicone tool to do this. Lift up the foil and smile at your success, then top coat. I sometimes apply this foil gel to my nails in a specific design using a fine art brush. Same technique as before but try not to make the same mistakes I made. Maybe don't use your favorite art brush and don't wait an hour to clean the foil gel from said brush, so you don't have to toss it in the trash while crying. UPDATE: The company sent me another set to replace the one that leaked. I have also now used the product since my first review and it works so well! I have used it with foils, glitter, and powders and it stick awesome but you do need to use thin coats. If they are too thick it cures weird and a little bubbly. Another quick tip is when I use it with foils I have to put another base coat over the foil before the top coat. So the order is base coat, foil glue, foil, base coat, top coat. If I put the top coat on top of the foil it easily peels off within a day or two. Changed my review from 2 star to 5 star. This just got delivered and I could smell the polish as I bent down to get my package. I opened it and one of the bottles had leaked all over the bottles and packaging. ... show more
