These air chucks do not have the threads / grooves many others have internally, which are intended to “lock” the chuck on a valve stem. I find that feature very annoying, so finding these smooth ones was a great discovery. Easy to use and effective.

I drive an 18 wheeler and air the inside tires on a dually set is difficult with a regular air chuck. These make it easy and a lot of pressure isn't needed to hold them secure to the value stem. Great!
