This set is definitely beginner friendly and It came with more than I expected. The light is a little small and time consuming but that’s ok I had my own to use. The colors are super pretty. The box is orderly. Came with label stickers that were plain, but I used existing numbered ones I had from a sample kit. Not all sheer, but the nudes are nice. Gives me actual good options for my skin tone range. The sheer fluid blends itself together if you give it like 5 seconds- so you don’t see streaks. You must top with top coat to avoid sticking surface. Provides base, matte top, and gloss top coats. It provides helpful instructions and tips in case your novice or didn’t know something. Important tip is to apply very thin layers, and multiple layers so it doesn’t peel off easily. All of my samples were with 3 medium layers to see how the sheer holds up in excess and over multiple layers.

I'm really impressed with the variety of colors in this set. So often, in sets like this, you get a bunch of variations on a theme, like neutrals, summery colors and so on. Which is fine, but somewhat limiting. With this set, on the other hand, you get a little bit of everything. This is my second or third JODSONE polish set. I haven't been disappointed yet! The colors in this set are vibrant and go on easily. I didn't have any issues with clumping or streaking. Two coats is sufficient coverage for me because I use nail stamps over top, usually. I got great wear out of this polish. It still looked great 2.5 weeks in, when I was ready for a change. As with any gel polish, proper nail prep is really important. I promise, prepping properly is worth the time. Overall, I'm really happy with this set. I've got several more color combos planned so now I just need the time to make it happen. Highly recommend this item.

What you get out of this will depend greatly on what type of polish wearer you are. Do you like trying out different colors? Are you a fan of adding little details and such to your nails? Are you looking to try out new colors but aren't sure what you want? If any of those fit you, then this would be a good kit to try out. The big draw here is that this kit gives you the ability to try out multiple different colors. There are a lot of neutral and basic colors here, but there are also some that are a bit extra as well. The bottles don't really hold a lot, which may frustrate some, but I think that the amount you have here will make it easy to swap out and see what you like and what you don't. Having so many of so many different colors also gives you the ability to try out making patterns or other little details that you may be less likely to try when you have a limited amount of polishes to use. One thing to remember: as these are gel polishes, you will absolutely need a UV lamp to harden the polish or it will remain a liquid. This is an extra step, but gel polish just seems to be more durable than regular polish. All in all, a nice kit and one I can recommend!

I love these colors and they are extremely easy to use. I had to buy a led lamp to cure them but they last so long! I personally love the more subtle colors and this set had every color I could have wanted. Highly recommend.
