Like everyone else in the bad reviews, I got an infection from this kit. However, I can't say I wasn't blown away by this kit at first though. The gel lasted; the colors were nice. I didn't have any spillage upon arrival. The lamp worked and it came with so many other tools to help do your nails I was in love!!! Sadly...after doing my nails only twice (my hands) I noticed my nails were extremely brittle. And I'm saying, more brittle than gel usually makes them...now I decided to stop using the kit, as my pinky nail has completely lifted from underneath, I'm afraid I'll lose it all together and I'm not even sure how. And the nail pain was unbearable. I bought this kit with a gift card from Christmas no less...Merry Christmas to me. And I usually NEVER get infections or reactions from anything. Never. Fast forward to new year's, I decided to do my toes. Mistake. My big toenail now has a big BLACK spot, UNDERNEATH my nail. I didn't even know until I took off the gel. I'm not even sure how that could happen. But after reading other reviews, I am certain it's infected and I am waiting for my doctor's appointment. STAY AWAY. It might work at first, for a little bit you'll feel great! Probably won't even notice the damage it's doing, especially when your nails are covered with the paint. If you're using this, I highly recommend you stop. I'm so sad since I was so happy about how great my nails came out each time. It's just a shame...I'm not sure why amazon is still selling these crappy Chinese products to people after all these infections and bad reviews. It does seem to be getting better and since I've stopped using the kit, my nails have gotten so much better and the black spot under my toenail is growing out so I am hoping eventually I could just clip it off. But I will let the doctor decide. Amazon should be ashamed of themselves. Save your money and go to a notable salon. It's just not worth it. The chemicals/bacteria in the nail paint and the gel that they are selling is not worth it and most the chemicals used over there are not approved here in America. And the Chinese cut corners to sell and make money. Your health is not worth it. Paint your nails the old way or go to a salon. Unless you want black toenails, and for every nail to fall off like nothing...then be my guest. I can't even get a refund since it's been a couple months, not like the seller responds anyway. I now have to throw out 60 + beautiful nail colors, a LED LAMP, and gel acrylics I also bought. SO SAD. I COULD CRY. STAY AWAY. STAY STAY STAY AWAY. I typically spend anywhere from $50-$70 every 3 weeks doing my acrylic nails. This saved me lots of trips to the nail salon. Although they won’t be as perfect and long lasting as the nail salon they are very nice to try different shades and styles every 2 weeks. I get anxious a lot and find myself peeping them off within a week but I’m sure they can last longer if you don’t pick at them. 2-3 coats are best to get the most color pay off. I was wondering if I could pull off doing my own gel nails, and this kit makes it really easy to do so. When I use normal polish it takes forever to dry and most often rubs and messes up whenever do tasks with my hands, but the gel kit makes the process much faster and more efficient. I like that it comes with tools and preparation products too, and the multitude of colors, however I would recommend getting some more preparation produce like a dehydrator and better files to make the nails last longer. ... show more

When I received the package I was surprised at how much came in the box. There are so many great colors to choose from and a great variety. It took a few different times to get it down as far as painting and curing but all in all it was such a great value for the price and the directions were simple. I wanted to wait at least a week of doing my nails. I am shocked it looks like I did my nails today. I hand wash all the dishes and do a ton of stuff with my hands. Typically regular nail polish chips within hours of me applying. I have very thin nails and nothing ever lasts longer than a day. I love this kit. I was missing the glitter top coat from my order so I contacted customer support and worked out a replacement order and my second time trying still was missing the glitter top coat. That was a huge reason I ordered the set I did. Super disappointed. Also, the package was delayed. I did my nails, I used a dehydrator and a primer and then the base coat, color, and regular top coat (again, because I didn’t get my glitter top coat) and they lasted five days before one chipped and three of them started to roll. At day 7, one fell off. On day 8, the rest were coming off completely. Super gorgeous while they lasted. Happy with the colors and assortment. NOT happy about the missing glitter top coat. I’m disappointed they didn’t last very long but I’m excited to do another color soon. Please seller, if you see this, send me my glitter top coat!! ... show more

I’m a little worried about this product so I only did one hand based on the reviews citing an allergic reaction. For now, right after application, my nails feel fine. I did use a high quality base and top coat though because I didn’t want to risk it with these. I bought this kit because it was cheap and the colors looked pretty so I wasn’t in need of the base and top coats. The color was a bit grainy but after three coats it looks fine. It did feel a bit stickier than what my uv usually cures after 60s with other higher quality gel polish. But again, after a different brand top coat they are hard and no reaction so far. ... show more
