I've had this Smith Machine for over a month and after using it at least 5 times a week this is what I can say. The shipment was fast with the exception of a package that was lost, but it was enough to talk to the seller who kindly replaced the box that was missing. If you buy the set that does not have the bench and bumper discs, there are 5 boxes in total. The installation took me just over 4 hours, it is better to use your own tools because the ones included are not very good. I did it myself but the ideal is to have someone to help you. The instructions are simple but there is nowhere to get lost. I received one or another scratched piece as a result of the movement in the shipment but nothing serious that needs a return. Once assembled, the Smith Machine is quite solid and due to its weight it does not move when you work on it. The pulley system is very versatile and being able to place them in any position in the vertical allows you to do many types of exercises. The Smith bar fulfills its function although I would have liked it to go lower as in other similar machines. It doesn't seem noisy to me as someone put in another review. If you want to use the J-Hooks it comes with, it is better to buy a 7 foot Olympic bar since the 6 foot one will not fit you because it is very short. In general terms I love this machine, it fulfills its purpose due to its great versatility, it lets me do all my exercise routine and the truth is that I would not change it for anything, I am very happy with it. I recommend it!!

We are very pleased with the SML07 smith machine. The build quality is sound. The cage has no issue with weight when doing heavy lifting. Very well balanced. The Barbell is sold with good grip. Pulley system is very smooth with light or heavy weight. You can adjust Pulleys to different levels to preform multiple exercises. The Landmine attachment has good rotation when using barbell. The cage holds very well when using the pull-up or parallel bars. No issues with cage shifting or shaking when preforming exercises. The cage has a good footprint to be able to preform exercises inside and out of machine. Also has four pegs in back for plate storage. Plus comes with multiple attachments. Assembly was fairly simple. About four hours with little assistance. Cons- one box was lost in transit and another box was missing a part. Major Lutie Fitness customer service was quick to send replacements. Had issue with rubber ball & shields on end the cables sliding down when preforming low pulley exercises. Advised by CS too use nylon zip ties to hold in place. Overall we are very happy with the SML07 and their customer service.

So far the quality and sturdiness of this equipment exceed my expectations. It works well and I think I'm going to be happy with it. My only complaint are the instructions. A few things aren't real clear but I was able to figure it out easily enough. The instructions on installing the barbell is off and caused me some grief. I wish they had warned me that the part that holds the weights for the pulley system had grease in it. I would have handled that differently had I known that. I think it would be better to add grease after you put it together because you keep touching the bar when installing the pulleys. I had to remove some of the pulleys to get the cable installed. It doesn't tell you that, but of course it doesn't take long to figure out that is what you have to do.
