I liked this cologne because it is easily one of my favorite scents for daily wear. The blend of bergamot and jasmine gives it a really fresh, clean opening, while the notes of white musk and cedarwood give it a more grounded, masculine finish as it wears down. It is a very versatile fragrance that works just as well for a casual day out as it does for a more formal setting. The atomizer is also great; it provides a really fine, even mist that helps the fragrance distribute perfectly without leaking or spraying in large droplets. It is surprisingly long-lasting for an eau de toilette, staying noticeable throughout the day without being overpowering. This is a good scent. Subtle and a bit understated, people won't notice it unless they hug you. It seems to last through a work day and the big bottle has lasted about two and a half years. Pricey upfront, but a pretty good value over time.

It's a classic, what can I say? I first experienced Acqua di Gio almost 15 years ago. That first bottle lasted me deep into the 20teens. From then on I was buying discounted and to be honest, in retrospect I'm not sure if I had authentic Acqua di Gio since that first bottle. This, however, is the real deal. If you haven't experienced Acqua di Gio before, it's a very clean and woodsy smell. Imagine "fresh rain storm in Aspen" type smell. Underneath that clean water and woodsy smell are pleasant cirtus and floral undertones. AdG is my go-to cologne and shines for all occasions.
