I’ve never made candles before, but I’ve been itching to try, and this kit made it so easy! It came with everything you need to get started, minus any fragrances you’d like to add. I felt the instructions were very easy to follow, though I had also done a fair amount of research beforehand. This has been an amazing beginner's kit with making soy wax candles. It has most all of what I need. It's missing a few things like a way to heat it, a thing to heat it in and a thermometer. I have all those though but I still love this kit and feel like it got me going. The quality of the soy max seems great. It melts well without any stink or residue and then when I burn the candle, it burns really well. I think it's a good price and would be a fun project to make with others.

This is a partial kit. It only includes wax, wicks, containers and the directions. I bought this thinking it would be a great kit for my niece. I had to add a thermometer and a pouring pot two very important things when making candles.

Made two candles and have more wax to make 2 more! Good instructions on how to make. It was easy and fun. I used my essential oils to make a lemongrass one and a coconut-lime I love to make them and it’s cheaper than buying store bought candles. It had all the required equipment to make except melting container and pot and stirrer. I have not burned them yet since they are still cooling.

I am extremely pleased with this DIY candle kit. It is definitely high quality. If you want to make yourself some candles without having to buy a ton of supplies, this kit is perfect. It has everything you need to make 4 really nice candles. The only thing you need to have is a place to melt the wax. It is also helpful to measure the amount of wax you need using a kitchen scale if you have one. This set makes unscented candles but you can use essential oil to scent them if you like. This kit comes nicely packaged in a box that is ideal for gift-giving. It has an instruction card that has easy-to-follow directions. This kit makes two glass candles (without lids) and two metal container candles with lids. You will make candles you can use yourself or give as homemade gifts.

This candle making kit is a great beginners tool. I am new to candle making and intend to make candles for my own personal use and this was a great way to get started. It comes with several tins and glasses for pouring candles and it has cotton wicks. One of the glass jars came chipped so beware of that. I got some wooden wicks to use, just personal preference nothing wrong with the ones the kit sent. The wax seems to be of good quality, I have really bad asthma and this doesn't bother me when lit and there is a good amount of it. Would recommend for anyone trying to get started.

This is a great beginner kit for candle making. The instructions are easy to follow, and it is a quick project. It took about 30 minutes from start to finish to complete a working candle. This would be great for kids’ birthday parties, activities, etc. Everything is pre-mixed and ready to go. It doesn’t create a big mess and you can walk away with a finished product in a short amount of time.

This candle making kit is awesome for people who are just starting out and want to have a little fun crafting their own candles. The set is very well put together and everything looks very nicely organized. The only thing I wish is that it came with options to add fragrance to your candle, even if it was a small tiny dropper amount at least you can make scented candles rather than plain candles but nonetheless, it’s still an awesome set and highly recommended for gifting
