Assembly was easy. There is a video on their youtube channel. Folding into cart mode design is quick. The reverse takes a 1-2 seconds longer as it doesn't always catch into the locking latch. Way better than the 4-in-1 hand truck sold at costco, but also twice the price. Stair climber part was purchased separately. Was cheaper than bundling. So I've been on the fence about buying this magliner cart but i went on and made the purchase, well as i read from another review that it came when it said it would BUT! after opening the box and start assembling it. it was missing parts well GD i needed to use the cart at work ASAP but i can't so i called Magliner directly and they were kind enough to send me the two missing parts for free right away instead of going through Amazon. so if you buy this cart expect to have missing parts. ( don't waste your time going through Amazon to get the missing parts) ... show more

Needed a convertible hand truck to transport stage and sound equipment in and out of a cargo trailer. Shopping criteria was it had to be 100% reliable. Already familiar with Magline quality, it was a clear choice, absolutely no regrets. Some assembly is required but if you have some basic hand tools, no problem. There was a minor manufacturing issue but a brief email to Gemini customer service and a replacement part was promptly sent and worked perfectly, A+ customer service. Absolutely love it. Pretty easy to put together, although having a second set of hands makes it much easier to line parts up and tighten, etc. Like suggested in their manual: make sure you re-tighten everything after a few uses. I haven't had it terribly long, but it has gone though a harsh winter and shows no signs of wear and tear. Also, its very easy to covert it to a dolly type product to a 'cart' and vice versa...(its a little awkward as a dolly, but nothing to be worried about) I would definitely recommend this product; worth the higher price point. **10 YEAR UPDATE: I use this cart for 5-6 days a week, EVERY WEEK. I have only replaced the smaller front wheels once each and literally nothing else has gone wrong. I’d imagine even the front wheels wouldn’t need to be replaced in warmer climates, but where I’m at, it goes through harsh winters and sees plenty of salt. So, yes I’d say it’s worth every penny, don’t even waste your time with some of these cheaper hand carts. ... show more
