I bought this with high hopes of finally tempting my cat with a toy. Apparently, my cat is defective. He sniffed it, whacked the ball once, and after 2 weeks of ignoring it, I concluded it was another toy fail. My grandson was over and said, I bet our cat would like it...so I gifted it to their cat Gizmo - who immediately went WILD for it, and continues to love it just like the cats in the video. So, again, apparently my cat is defective, but the toy itself seems a true hit with a more normal cat!!

My cat is kinda scared if it and doesnt play with it , such a bummer . But it looks like its supposed to and its not defective of anything . My cat is just picky with toys . It does seem sturdy enough for a cardboard toy, and it isnt the prettiest thing in my house , but its okay . Its too small for a cat to sleep in/on it , unless maybe you buy two i cant see my cat getting any kind of sleep quality on this thing ? Im going to give it away to someone else's cats at see if they have fun with it?

It's my own fault really, I should have looked through the product photos more closely. I thought this was a bit larger than it is, my cat is older and bigger and having seen the main image I thought 'Oh he could lay on it, that's cool!' ,but it's not big enough for that. If you have a smaller cat or kitten, that may be possible. Be sure to double check ALL of the product photos for sizing! That said, it's very sturdy. I thought it was a sticker to connect it, but it was a simple magnet so assembly was easy. My cat is still unsure about how to play with it just yet, but he is curious.

Was really hopeful my big, 22 month old kitten would play with it. First 3 days, totally ignored it. Then, batted the ball around a few times, but that has been it. It's much smaller than I thought - the image showing the cat sitting on it is not realistic. You can pull it apart that wide but it snaps back. Maybe little kittens would like it. On the positive side, the magnets holding it together are strong, so that's a plus.

My boys played with the ball for over 15 minutes out of the box and I saw it moved overnight so there must have been some shenanigans. Easy to put together, just magnets. It's about 8 inches across, so if your cat is not tiny, they wont fit inside unless you buy two and put them together. That being said, the quality is very good and the cats like the texture. I think it will last a long time and will provide lots of fun play time for the cats.

Well i have 2cats. Both 2 yrs old. I got this item for them and it took two nights for them to destroy it. I mean they chewed the entire rim around the top. First night not so bad I woke up to go to work and I had to cleaned up the bits of carboard aroung the bed. I came home from work 8 hours later to find they chewed almost the entire top off around the top. I love them dearly but I never suspected this. If you have cats that like to chew they will destroy this bed in no time at all. I had to send it back. Now i am searching for another bed/ scratching post to give them. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this bed. The product is very nice and I really loved it. I just think the wood was too soft around the rim.

Positive: my cat really enjoyed this scratcher board. He was able to hold it between his paws and scratch with his rear feet - which is unusual for a scratcher. Negative: unfortunately it is not very durable. It only lasted about 1 week before I had to re-glue some of the seams, and now, 4 weeks after purchase, it is in pretty bad shape (see pic).
