Kids tore open the package and immediately started building a fort. The design is cool and really allowed my kids to use their imagination. Easy to use and clean up. Great value for the money. Clips are great, sand bags are kinda useless but that’s alright. Overall, I’m happy with it, but most importantly, my kids are too.

Upon receiving this, it looked promising. Came with all that it said in the description. We set it up and we'll, it didn't last. It only had a single stitch on the Velcro pieces and thus it came off the fabric material. It was cute, pretty big and covered their entire room. It was fun while it lasted, but it wasn't that long. Hence the 4 stars. If you know how to sew and have a sewing machine/kit, you can fix it. (Which I haven't done, yet).

My kids love building forts. It started as draping sheets over furniture (taking every kitchen chair that I had), and progressed into me making them a kit with PVC pipe. This set is the perfect starter kit for young fort builders. The Velcro straps make it easy to secure around furniture legs (though PVC poles are too small of a diameter). The large fabric drape has pockets on the sides to hold the included bean bags which help weigh the edges down and hold it in place. Alternatively, the pockets can be used to store whatever little treasures children want to put inside. The set includes 4 clips to help attach the fabric to the top of whatever it’s draped over. It comes with a nice bag to keep everything stowed away when not in use. It’s an easy way for kids to make their own little sanctuary. One thing I will note is that the plastic clips have smooth inserts on the inside that do come off (see photo). I’m sure it serves to help protect surfaces from damage. My kids have lost at least one, it doesn’t affect the functionality of the clip, but it’s something you should be aware of. The piece that comes off is small enough to be a choking hazard if you’ve got little ones who still put everything in their mouth.

The cloth with this fort set it HUGE!!! It’s just what you need to make a great fort! It took a little doing to teach my kids how to use it, but there are ms vests to build a fun fort with this set. I had no problem clipping the grippers onto the sides of tall play dry baskets. They also used the attached Velcro straps to hang parts of it on everything they could! There are pockets on the sides and bean bags that come with this which you can put in the pockets to act as weights if you’re doing this outside or it just won’t stay. We used them inside but I felt like we did t really need them much the way we did it. You do need a pretty larger open area for this in order to set up. The pattern printed on top is vivid and very fun.
