Preface to say I have bought ALOT of rugs! I even have a $600 Ruggable washable rug and this rug has exceeded my expectations. First off the price is awesome. Second it is incredibly soft the feel is much more luxurious than I anticipated. Thirdly it's a heavier feel than most "washable" rugs leading it to be truly slip resistant. I can not speak to the durability but upon first impressions it looks like it will hold up very well. It came folded in a box so I was worried about hard line creases but it surprisingly laid very flat! The colors are a tad lighter in person which I like because I have very bold color furniture. It's a beautiful quality looking rug and the price makes it a no brainer. Works very well in my space. It should hold up well in the wash so it should hold true to its claim of washable. I have owned, researched, purchased and returned many rugs and I rely on reviews although I rarely leave them. This rug is worth it! It is very soft and thin. I have a high-traffic home (large family, kids, 2 giant breed dogs). Came just before holidays and have held up extremely well with many events in between Thanksgiving and New Year’s. Very easy to clean: blot spills, vacuum, and spot clean. Have not tried machine washing yet but seems like it will wash easily. The colors are lovely, varied and soft, exactly as pictured online which is what I needed in order to match furniture. Easy to match tan, beige, sage green, charcoal, burnt orange, and soft blue. I purchased two 8x10 rugs for the living room. One for the entry with no rug pad which gets all of the wet shoes, etc., and one for the center with a thin rug pad. Neither rug slides, but corners occasionally bunch up on the rug w/o a pad. Not a big deal at all. Wasn’t sure what to expect with the affordable price tag - WORTH IT! Right design and colors great price. Yes, the rug looks lovely. But… it is difficult to vacuum as the rug is thin and more like a blanket and is suctioned up. The price is right so I really don’t see myself ever washing this rug in my washing machine. It will just get replaced. It does stay in place because I have two heavy glass top tables sitting in the center. If children were playing on it, it would be moving and shifting. It is well made and very attractive but I will not be buying another washable area rug. ... show more
