It makes lots of ice with one fill, it lets you know when the ice basket is full and when to add more water. The only noise you will hear is when the ice is falling in the ice basket. I’ve had this product for about 2 1/2 years. I wasn’t that good back cleaning it. So it got stopped up with some algae. I turned it on inside to clean it. And then turn it back up and tried it right away it did not work. Because the Freon takes a couple of hours to settle down. The next day it’s working great. I highly recommend it. However it’s a pretty noisy beast at 3 o’clock in the morning. Maybe put it on a timer ... show more

Really great 'soft' ice, if you like chewing ice your teeth will be happy with this kind of ice. It takes only a short amount of time before the bin is completely filled with ice. My whole family is in love with this ice.

So far so good. It does what it is supposed to do. We never run out of ice...We live in Hawaii so we love having the ice at our finger tips. It is a nice addition to our bar...How did we get along without this for so long? It just keeps pumping out the ice...
