Makes really soft ice, having that space in the middle of it. Crazy how fast it turns out ice.     • A nice product
The only issue I have with this product is the ice tends to melt if Iโ€™m not there to get it out immediately. The other issue is the plug on the bottom is not east to get to in order empty any left over water. There is very little noise and I really like the size of the cubes.

Needed an ice maker that is not to large but also to provide the amount of ice I needed, checked few other options on Amazon and nothing particularly striking, decided an a independent research and found this little machine that was actually on Amazon website, after reading about the features, compared to others, I decided to purchase this unit, was a bit unsettled at first and was eager to receive the machine. The packaging was superb, the machine beautiful to look at and small enough to fit a countertop, next was to reading the manual, pretty straight forward and then...Oh! Lordy was to have this machine live to its expectations, to my amazement, in no time the unit started producing ice!! as I set it to larger size ice. in short, very easy to operated, perform as it says it would, produce beautiful ice in decent time and delighted so far with this purchase, no more buying ice from the store, what a relief this as been. ... show more

    • Quieter than many, easy to use and maintain
I have had many of these little ice makers over the years. Some have broken down after only a year or two, but most have lasted 3 to 5 years. This machine appears a bit nicer looking than most, and operated the same way the others do, but quitter in operation. I can't comment on longevity but I'm my esperience, the quieter units lasted longer than the noisy ones. ... show more

This ice maker is always full with ice! It refills super fast and it is really easy to add the water. It does make noises all day.

I got this in anticipation of having an icing machine after surgery. I no longer need it, its still brand new, never been out of the box, but I'll have to pay to return it. I would never have bought it if I'd known that's the case.

    • It is slow but keeps making ice
The ice maker is fine and it works. I would prefer a bit larger bin for the cubes to collect in, but that is a minor issue. It is not very noisy but it does take up a fairly large bit of counter space for the amount of ice it produces. I cannot use it in my kitchen. There is no room for it. I put it in the guest bathroom since we have not had any guests for over year. I bought this because the icemaker in my Samsung refrigerator is a piece of garbage and I had to replace it shortly after the fridge went out of warranty. The replacement maker cost $300 plus installation and failed after six months. I can make enough ice in one day to have ice on hand for 2-3 days. I may need to run it more when summer arrives, but for now this is a good solution for us. ... show more
