Smaller than my airfryer. Does not take up much space on my kitchen counter. Magic Chef makes a good quality products. My previous ice maker is a Magic Chef and it has run 24/7 for the past 10 years. It is a larger version but I was impressed with it continued flawless operation over the years. I just needed to clean the water deposits that built up. This is easy to set up. Needed an ice maker that is not to large but also to provide the amount of ice I needed, checked few other options on Amazon and nothing particularly striking, decided an a independent research and found this little machine that was actually on Amazon website, after reading about the features, compared to others, I decided to purchase this unit, was a bit unsettled at first and was eager to receive the machine. The packaging was superb, the machine beautiful to look at and small enough to fit a countertop, next was to reading the manual, pretty straight forward and then...Oh! Boughtva Magic Chef Icemaker. Broke in about 2 weeks just stopped working. Contacted Amazon that contacted Seller. Seller sent a return label at My Cost!! I refused to pay it! Contacted Amazon immediately! Now Seller is stating it's too late!! This is a rip off! As a consumer what more can I do?? Just another example of throwing away Hard Earned Cash!!     • It is slow but keeps making ice
The ice maker is fine and it works. I would prefer a bit larger bin for the cubes to collect in, but that is a minor issue. It is not very noisy but it does take up a fairly large bit of counter space for the amount of ice it produces. I cannot use it in my kitchen. There is no room for it. I put it in the guest bathroom since we have not had any guests for over year. I bought this because the icemaker in my Samsung refrigerator is a piece of garbage and I had to replace it shortly after the fridge went out of warranty. The replacement maker cost $300 plus installation and failed after six months. I can make enough ice in one day to have ice on hand for 2-3 days. I may need to run it more when summer arrives, but for now this is a good solution for us. ... show more
