  • Honestly Pleasantly Surprising Awesome Mechanical Backlit 75% For A Seriously Low Price
Color: Black Grey/Red Switch
Okay, so first, this was on sale for $24 dollars and has a lot of good reviews. When they arrived (bought two) the package was far heavier than I'd expected. Taking the kb out it is small but not overly compact and has a good sturdy weight and feel. The keys are good and clicky and very responsive. The key caps are shot through so the back lighting lights up each as well as a subtle lighting across the kb mat. There are quite a few patterns/options for the backlighting which you can scroll through easily with the specific key combination you'll find in the manual. If I had any gripe at all, and I definitely dont, it would be wanting the backlighting to be RGB instead of just blue... but honestly, it's a damn nice keyboard for a good price even when not on sale. Note: It came with extra keycaps so you could switch out like the space bar and some others... it did not come with the samurai themed caps... those were a separate purchase ... show more

  • Sometimes the Keyboard lags out or randomly disconnects, but it feels great to type with
Color: White Black/Yellow Switch
I bought this keyboard because I was on the hunt for an affordable small one that could fit in my laptop bag for classes For the first couple of months, it was working really well without issue. But sometimes during gaming or other tasks the thing will just randomly disconnect and keep typing the last letter pressed, or in this case in game, it keeps the character moving forward. The only way to fix this is to unplug and plug it back in again. Other than that really, I have been happy with the keyboard and how quiet it is. But in the future it makes me unsure of buying from the brand because I don't know if this is just a faulty keyboard or a widespread thing. If you love tactile keyboards, this will put you right at home wherever you go! ... show more

  • Highly recommend
Color: Grey Black/Blue Switch
I recently picked up the MageGee 75% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, and it has been a great addition to my setup! This keyboard combines a compact design with solid performance, making it ideal for both gaming and typing. Build Quality: The construction feels sturdy, with a nice weight to it that prevents any slipping during intense gaming sessions. The keycaps are durable and have a satisfying feel when typing, which is essential for both gaming and productivity. Switches: The blue switches provide a tactile and clicky experience that I really enjoy. They offer great feedback and are responsive, which enhances my typing speed and gaming performance. However, if you prefer quieter keys, you might want to consider other switch options. Backlighting: The LED blue backlighting is vibrant and adds a nice aesthetic touch to my setup. There are multiple lighting modes and brightness levels to choose from, allowing for some customization. It looks great in low-light conditions, although I wish there were more color options available. Layout: The 75% layout is compact and saves space on my desk without sacrificing functionality. The keyboard has all the essential keys and functions while maintaining a clean design. It’s perfect for gamers who want a more streamlined setup. Performance: Overall performance is solid. The keyboard registers inputs quickly, and I haven’t experienced any missed keystrokes during gaming. It works well with various games and applications, making it a versatile choice. Value for Money: Given the features and quality, the MageGee 75% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard offers excellent value for the price. It's a great option for gamers on a budget who don’t want to compromise on quality. Overall Impression: The MageGee 75% Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a compact, responsive, and stylish keyboard. While the blue switches might not be for everyone, they deliver a satisfying typing experience. I’d definitely recommend this keyboard to fellow gamers and anyone in need of a reliable mechanical keyboard! ... show more

  • Still great 2+ years later
Color: Grey White/Brown Switch
PROS: I’ve been using this keyboard for a bit over two years! No broken keys, they all work great still, I even customized it with some fun 3d key caps lol. I had no problem taking it apart to clean, they pop right off with the tool. The switches sound reeeally nice, I still love hearing it. CONS? I remember now that the space bar made a different noise than all the other keys and it drove me crazy, it was like a weird ‘cheap plastic’ sound.’ I think it did that because that key is so long and hollow, but I put the tiniest piece of thin foam in the hollow area of the key, and then it sounded just like the others! Took less than a minute to fix so no stars taken for that. TLDR I love my keyboard, worked great for 2+ years now. Space bar made a hollow plastic sound but it’s an easy fix with a thin piece of foam or whatever you have around. I recommend :-) ... show more

  • Get what you pay for
Color: Black Grey/Red Switch
Purchased this keyboard as a budget option as the one I was replacing it with was double typing some of the keys, or just not registering input at all. However upon receiving the keyboard, it initially worked just fine, After just a few days I started to see the board double typing just as my previous one was. Thought maybe I was just not used the to key depression ranges, or even fat fingering. At about a week I noticed that the "D" key would just not register input at random. By the next day, essentially all the WADS keys would just not accept input at random. Decided to return and go with another brand. Previous keyboard was nearly 300USD when I bought it 12 years ago, and I have now since learned, that you get what you pay for with keyboards. ... show more
