    • Lovely Bed Frame

I just moved into a loft apartment and wanted to save some money so I decided to invest in a queen size bed frame. I did a lot of research on bed frames…trust me I did. It was time to upgrade and those nice headboard beds are so pricey and a lot don’t have good reviews another reason I decided on a bed frame. So I bit the bullet and bought this bed frame. It arrived earlier than expected which was awesome! The following day I decided to put it together. First thing I did was take each part out and make sure I had all the parts and bolts, successfully I did!!! I organized the parts in order on the bedroom floor. The direction pamphlet is okay but you need to use common sense also. They included wrenches also, so that was nice, I used them. I decided to tackle it by myself. All the parts and bolts went in correctly and smoothly. I really like the rubber pieces that are on the ends that will hit the floor, I have hardwood floors so I wanted to make sure they were protected. It took me about 1 hr to complete. I went slowly, double checked myself, and I even went behind myself and tighten things up a bit as I went along. It ended up being a really nice set up. It’s sturdy and super durable. I did add some extra protection on the ends with felt tips. Also I pushed the head of the frame against the wall, like a headboard. and I put felt tips on the “headboard” area. I didn’t want to mess up my wall if the frame did hit. This frame does NOT move, literally does move when you are in it. I’ve jumped on it, rolled in it, & tried to make it move, it’s super solid and again does not move at all. I am 5’10, 188lbs for reference. I added a Zinus 7.5 inch box spring and 12 inch Ashley medium form memory firm mattress on top of the frame. Oh they did include 4 bed scotch things to hold your mattress or box spring secure in the frame, so it want move, they are awesome and work properly. Snap them on the frame where u want them and you are good to go. You mattress will not move at all. It’s exact 18 inches off the floor. So with adding my 12 inch mattress and 7.5 inch box springs it is about 37 inches tall. I actually love the bed tall. It’s a cool setup and I get tons of compliments from family and friends. So far I have been using this bed frame for a month now. I am highly satisfied!!!! Extremely pleased. I’ve never used nor purchased only a bed frame but I could definitely see myself buying one in the future if needed, I would definitely buy from this company again!!! This bed frame has the main qualities that were important to me: it is very, very sturdy, easy to assemble, and does not squeak. Some metal bed frames either are overly complicated to assemble or the fittings are too loose and they squeak and move. This was very easy to assemble, very rigid. You can tell thought was put into the design, the rubber pads on the bottom of the legs protect the hardwood floors I have it on, and keep the bed from sliding. Size: Full Style: 18 Inch
CONS: Only pictures, without any words in the instructions. My first question was: HOW do you get the rings/washers off of all those screws? I finally figured out that you don't remove them, but I only somewhat figured that out after watching a "too fast video" on putting the product together on the product page. Frustrating. Tried for an hour or more to get those washers off those screws. Don't laugh. Most people that are USED to putting things together might have KNOWN that you left the washers on, but I don't put a lot of things together and I've NEVER seen screws with washers/rings on them that stayed on the screws. I'm not mechanical and I have never had screws come in any package that had two washers per screw on them. Logic said they should come off and be put between layers or on the end of the screw. NOT!!! Wish they had said that to begin with. Simple question, but no explanation. I had to have a handyman come check my work after I thought I had it together correctly. Costly to have to do that. But I couldn't be sure I had done it correctly. Before I used the bed frame, I wanted to make sure I had put it together properly. IN the instructions, please tell people that the washers/rings stay ON the screw so other inexperienced people know something that simple. Frustrating. Operator ignorance for sure. BUT it would have helped IF it said what to do with them in the instructions. PROs: After my frustration with putting the bedframe together, I am very happy with the bedframe. It feels sturdy to me and I'm sleeping well on it. Better than my old bedframe that only had a lip for the box springs to sit on and if the frame loosened, they box springs fell to the floor. Next time (if there is one), I might get one a couple of inches shorter. I have to hop up onto the bed a little with just the mattress on it. I'm 5'7". But I do like it high off the floor so you can clean under it and store things under it. All and all (now that it is put together), I am very happy with it. ... show more
