Positives: 1. Even though the instructions have no words at all, only letters pointing to the illustrations of parts, it still took me less than an hour to put this frame together myself. I will say I've put a LOT of kit items together over the years, so it seemed pretty straight forward to me. 2. Whether you're skilled with this type of thing or not, the main tip is to go over the instruction sheet at least twice, or however many times leafing through it you need until you're sure you understand where each part goes BEFORE you start assembling anything. Such as the four separate washers that come with it. Only one step shows you what they're for, and those aren't even labeled. 3. Sturdy as heck. I don't think they're kidding about being able to support 3000 pounds. 4. Lots of nice storage space underneath. Negatives: Really, only one notable issue. The horizontal support slats (the edge facing up) are only 3/4" wide, and they're spaced 5" apart (on the queen frame I ordered). Strength wise, this is not a problem *supporting* what you put on the frame. But, it's not enough to keep your mattress from sagging in between each pair of slats. If you value the lifespan of your expensive mattress, you'll also want to invest in a bunk (bunkie) board. ... show more

It was a breeze to assemble. I had it done in about 15 minutes and that was with the dog wanting to help me put it together. He's a Saint Benard so I don't have to explain how he was making the assemble go longer. It was a lot more sturdier than I thought it would have been. I haven't slept on it yet or anything else. So I am hopeful that it will be just as sturdy when the time comes. ... show more

Quick review because I'm tired and want to sleep on this exact bed frame I'm reviewing. It's the perfect height for my room, it's sleek, simple, and fits the space well. I was looking for a bed frame that wasn't too high or too short with enough clearance at the bottom for storing whatever. I am a 5'10" 200 pound guy and can crawl underneath it with ease. My absolute favorite part is that IT DOESN'T MAKE A SOUND, which is important, ya know? It feels as if the bed frame could bear the weight of a Kia Soul, so no worries on that part. We bought the 14 inch high metal frame. All the parts came with even a few extra. We were able to put it together with the two tools provided. My granddaughter has only a small studio apartment since she is a missionary for Jesus 6 months of the year in another country. The frame allows for so much storage under the bed, right now 8 plastic tubs with some room leftover. Very happy with it.
