I worked on it and got it done this morning. I couldn’t say honestly how simple and easy as could be it was to put everything in order. Setting things up, and alone took a bit longer, under an hour though I would say. Making sure things were to the best and highest regard unimaginable was first priority. I would respectfully (with a US postal stamp) send a First Class Priority mail to anyone who’s in need, with my letter and signature, of my highly forthcoming recommendation to this particular seller/ brand. We needed a temporary bed frame as ours broke rather suddenly, and we needed one to use while we shopped for a more permanent solution. Shipment was fast, easy to assemble and so far, so good. It even matched nicely with our headboard from the previous set. Now we can take our time for a new set. Heck, we may just stay with this. It's THAT good! The frame holds a heavy California King, Temperpedic foam mattress with ease. Pound for pound, I say it's a great buy! ... the set comes with all the tools you need, but I highly recommend assembly using a power-tool as allen (hex) wrenches are for the birds.

We purchased this in lieu of the conversion kit for my son's crib with plans of attaching the headboard and footboard to it. They are just about a half inch too wide for this frame which is a pity but we plan on adding some wood to the inside of the legs, drilling holes and attaching them when we have the time. The conversion kits were going to cost us 200+ dollars so this was a huge value even if we do have to rig the head and foot boards to fit. The mattress does slide on the frame but it makes it easier to change the sheets out. The rails do seem especially kickable (ouch!!) but it happens on my bed too- just a hazard of modern life I suppose. I assembled this myself while sick and it was easy enough to do. The instructions weren't detailed but were straightforward enough that there weren't any questions. The hardware was well sorted and labeled. I love that all 3 of us (2 adults and a toddler totaling ~465lbs) can all lay on it without it feeling like it is going to sag or break.

The frame was easy to assemble. Its very solid. I likecthe height. It doeas not have any uoter lip and my Lull mattress tends to slide off so I am constantly readjusting it onto the frame. I am hoping once the mattress forms onto the slats that I am hoping once the mattress fits forms over the slats better it will stop sliding off forms. It will start sliding around on it.

This bed is REALLY high. I thought it would be adjustable but it’s not. My mattress is 16' and now the bed is very tall for me, if I sit down my feet don't touch the floor. So if you have a mattress as high as mine, I would look for another option. Other than that it's fine.
