The beverage cooler backpack has a spacious interior to store several beverages and more. I used can beverages and bottles along with other items during camping. The largest interior compartment that you store all your beverages in is leak proof and heat resistant. The top has a zippered insulated compartment. There are several zippered compartments, a padded zippered hidden compartment underneath the backpack, corded compartments that you can cinch to accommodate different size water bottles even alcohol; if you feel a little adventurous. The backpack straps are padded along with a waist strap. A nice feature was the addition of a bottle opener. There’s a Velcro US flag that you can remove, which I did. Or you can add your own customizations to it. The exterior is made of a poly-nylon material. It’s waterproof and durable. All the zippers have a short corded extension to make opening and closing easier. The design is well thought out and intuitive. You can pack a lot of items in this cooler with the main and additional compartments. I’m very happy with the purchase that I can use for camping, hiking, going on a picnic, and other outdoor activities. ... show more

It seems very good and useful, The bands (shoulder bands and chest band) can not be tightened enough for a thin person. So personally, I don't have the support I need to carry this backpack.

This thing is cavernous! Nicely made, looks good, and plenty of pockets., with a nice liner and thick insulation. And it is roomy. Rack pocket and compartment is pretty spacious. The little side ones behind the mesh are roomier than I would have guessed. The pocket on the back padding is plenty big. The top compartment on the lid has allot of space and OK insulation, although thinner than the main compartment. Speaking of the main compartment, don't fall in. That is simply cavernous. The measurements in the pictures don't do it justice. And the liner is nice and I feel that the insulation is good. At least it feels good. Overall nice build quality and features. I'm pretty impressed with it so far. I don't think I want to carry it fully loaded with 50 cans like the description claims, just because that's allot of weight, for my back and any stitching. It may hold it, but for that kind of load I would prefer a hard cooler, maybe with wheels. Still, for more reasonable and realistic loads this backpack will be great. Fits my needs very well. Worth the reasonable price. Happy with it. ... show more

The cooler has a waterproof liner to retain melted ice, condensation, etc. and keep you and your surroundings dry (bear in mind that the zippered closure at the top is not waterproof). The insulation is thick enough to provide for all-day effectiveness without being heavy or excessively bulky and allows the cooler to be collapsed/folded for storage or easy transport, unlike the Yeti-style backpack coolers. I think this is a very valuable feature. The backpack suspension is useful and comfortable. Don't think of the backpack feature as just being something for hiking... to me, the real value is that it frees up your hands when walking from the house to the car, or to the boat because the cooler is rarely the only thing you'll be carrying. Again, a big plus. The extra storage compartments around the cooler make it so much easier to pack things like napkins, utensils, plates, paper towels, cups, etc. that are usually needed along with food and drinks. There is even a bottle opener attached to one of the straps. It is a big convenience to be able to pack everything with the food and drinks. This is a well-thought-out design that offers a lot of versatility and at a price that is a steal. I don't think you can beat this value. ... show more
