This lamp is so stylish for the price! Goof-proof assembly is easy because the cord is already threaded through all the lamp parts. Just take your time, so you can thread the parts with minimum difficulty. You may see tiny flaws, but the lamp looks beautiful assembled. Best of all, Universal Lighting and Decor/Lamps Plus fixed a defective segment of the lamp by sending a 100-percent perfect replacement. All I needed to do was send an Amazon message and photo of the defect. Easy. I didn't have to pay any postage or send anything back. Their email and phone support is outstanding. Very impressed! The defect in the first lamp came from the original manufacturer because the packing was perfectly protective. My only minor complaint is the styrofoam packing crumbles into beads, so keep the big packing box open to avoid a mess. I will buy from this company again. ... show more

Very pretty floor lamp, I love the shade! It's not white, it's more of a beige or light brown, it's square and matches the lamps I bought , which I had no idea they matched! At least the lamp shade and the color matches. I have noticed people talking about it leaning, or if you screw the part below the switch to tight it makes the lamp a little crooked, mine didn't really do that, it goes great in my room! I bought one of those switches you plug in and you just use your remote to turn it off and on, I love it! ... show more

This is a good looking lamp that gives off a good amount of soft lighting. The lamp shade didn't seem to want to sit straight, so a little bending was in order. Overall it's a nice lamp and I would recommend it to anyone. The packaging was very involved with parts of the cord and the lamp itself constantly getting stuck in the huge amount of Styrofoam packaging. I scratched one of the pieces trying to free it, but I just cheated it to the back so the scratch faces the wall. ... show more

I saw this on Amazon and really liked the look of it. I am in the middle of having the house remodeled and thought this would look great in a guest bedroom. Package arrived promptly and on time and was packaged well. I have no complaints in that department. The disappointment came in what should have been a simple to put together lamp. In screwing in one section of the lamp, it went in crooked, and no matter what I tried, or tool I used, I could not remove the section to begin again. In the process, I ended up scratching a small section of the lamp, which in addition to its lopsided appearance, now had a scratch that while maybe not visible to the casual viewer, is glaringly apparent to me, every time I look at it.
