Sound quality is amazing the best you can get from a battery operating speaker I'm definitely the best I've tried a lot of speakers they look cool the battery life is very good for the output amplifier definitely makes the best use out of the wattage possible and I bought two I don't use the Bluetooth connectivity whatsoever for it's about the same as any other Bluetooth product but I just don't trust Bluetooth at all so I've never tried pairing them I don't know how that works yet even I've had them for months I just use cables because cables always work with much more clarity I had it on Bluetooth and then switched to cable immediately and heard the boost in fidelity so go with the cables high quality XLRs and 3.5 jacks, down with Bluetooth! But definitely buy the speaker it's really awesome five stars 10 stars fine 35 stars and I just take whatever you want. Oh yes and try out a dual t-bar to put on top of your tripod so you can have two of these bad boys facing different directions That's pretty awesome That's what I did you should do it too cuz I'm really cool and you should be cool too like me. also you should buy the black and orange carrying case not the Mackie brand it's cheaper and it has way more pockets and it's excellent quality they can fit all your XLRs and everything could fit microphones it's got a lot of pockets and it's very productive it's got an orange inside no brand names anywhere on it you should be able to locate it on this website though I recommend it :-) ... show more

This speaker can handle a beating. I take them to the beach, put them anywhere and they just don't quit. Battery last forever. Thinking about buying another pair because let's be honest. Any speaker used in open spaces at full will die eventually. These 2 haven't but I see the clip red light more often now. Definitely the best bang for your money. ... show more

Beach Camera, you tried to rip us off! Mackie, take note, this is what your sellers are up to. Potential buyers should note that there are other providers other than this one. First the speaker: I already own one and they work great. I've got up to 8 hours on the internal battery. Works awesome on a PA system with XLR, works good on your phone with bluetooth. Mostly. I've had some connection issues (Samsung Galaxy s24) and my wife can't often connect (Google Pixel). But are you really buying this for bluetooth? I suppose the only odd thing is getting used to the woofer over the tweeter, which is how they had to build this to accommodate the battery. Next the issue: I received an extremely damaged box that was shipped inside another damaged box. It was clear that the company re-boxed the banged up speaker inside a new box and just hoped I'd deal with it. When I asked for a refund for the damaged speaker, they did everything possible to prevent me from returning it and getting a refund. Multiple calls to Amazon with completely contradictory advice. Even after they physically had it back, they didn't refund us without prompting. It was only after 2 weeks of fighting and threatening a charge back that they finally obliged us. I ended up purchasing from Walmart dot com as they used different shippers at half the shipping time (and it yielded a real undamaged speaker)! ... show more

I love PA systems. I own several and use them regularly at a wide variety of venues for music and mic at Magic shows. I had been keeping an eye on the Thump Go since its pre-release advertising (probably over 2 years ago) and waited until a friend/associate of mine got one for his act and demoed it for me. For some reason, the Guitar Center demo I got made me think it was much weaker than it is. This little thing is a BEAST! It sounds great and packs enough punch for most venues I do. In fact, my biggest PA is over twice the size and weight with a battery that lasts a fraction as long and the Mackie puts out probably 75+% the power/volume of it. I highly recommend getting the Mackie Bag with it too. It is great road protection and has huge pockets for cables, etc. ... show more
