I am 5'8"/8'9" & 175/180#LBS A medium is kind of loose fit and a small would probably be good over a T-shirt or light long sleeve, if you have smaller shoulders? Medium is good for a few layers underneath and a Carhartt vest over it for colder winter days working in 0-30 ° temps But beware the zipper! @ the very top there is a slot for the zipper pull to slide off. So you MUST have the zipper zipped up before you put it into the washing machine or dryer! Or you will probably loose the zipper pull!!! The good news is that if you find a zipper pull in the bottom of the washer or drier... Look at the top of the zipper and find the odd little slot and slide the pull back on. ... show more

I got it for work, for winter and it does keeps you really warm! I would sometimes un zip it cause I'll start to sweat on it. My wife would often take it away from me to use it. The material cloth is soft and very comfortable. Highly recommended
