I believe this is the same brand I purchased many years ago, those rugs were black and I had put them through the washing machine many many times due to having a dog with Cushing's disease that gave her poor bladder control. I tossed those out after our dogs had passed away, and we are now taking in my inlaws' dog that they did not want to bring overseas with them. I believe this will help her with traction with her arthritic joints. I wish there was a cool grey color option to match our area rug, this is a warm grey, but it's not the end of the world. I would much rather have the durability, washability, and non-skid backing for my needs.

Our elderly dog can't walk on tile or he slips and falls. These have helped him in getting around the house immensely with their non slip backing. They are well made and nice to look at. I have bought three already and thinking of getting a fourth.

I have this running from one end to the other in my galley kitchen. I live in an upstairs apartment, I'm clumsy, and I like my downstairs neighbor. I bought this in hopes she would continue liking me. It does wonders for muffling sound when I do drop something (a lot) and it's already saved a few dishes from exploding on impact with the tile floor below it. What I didn't expect was for it to be as soft as it is. I don't wear shoes [read: foot prisons, am I right?] indoors. I stand on it to cook, wash dishes, and wait for unhealthy food to heat in the microwave. Never have I thought it to be anything other than comfortable. It has a rubber(?) backing, which helps greatly with keeping my clumsiness volumes down, and it doesn't move around. It stays where you put it. I've come into the kitchen "hot" before and even then it didn't move when I rounded the corner quickly and kept me vertical. Which is good because I like my downstairs neighbor.

I really like the way this rug looks in my laundry room. The quality and design are very nice and the color was exactly what I was looking for. The only downside is it slides around on my tile floor. I’ll have to get a mat for underneath so it doesn’t move every time I step on it. Overall I’d recommend this for the price.

I bought this on sale and it is a good buy for the price, gets the job done but it does attract a lot of pet fur which can be time consuming to get out since it gets embedded in the fabric.
