    • Great Chair...Some things I'd like to share before and after my purchase.
First of all, it's a fine chair. I spent literally hours researching every Mid Century Modern chair online. I chose this one for a retro, Mid Century Mod Man Cave. I intend to use it primarily to watch TV. I needed one that doesn't take up much room. So, here are some observations I was looking for when shopping, all in one place...... Chair is exactly as described. Extremely well packed and arrived super fast in 2 days by Fedex. Box was in perfect condition. I put the box on it's side and carefully cut open the top and bottom, and the chair parts slid out easily. It is in only 2 pieces, seat and back, so very easy to assemble by yourself. Just attach 4 legs and drop the back into the seat. I chose a recliner to lay back at times to watch TV. It reclines easily, with just a push back, and easily returns to upright. No issue with it not "locking into place" when reclined, as many other chairs seem have comments on. It simply stays where you put it. NOTE: I AM 5 ft. 11" AND MY HEAD IS UNSUPPORTED WHEN RECLINED. Unfortunately this is a feature I was hoping for, but I suppose it is a compromise for the smaller size. With just a couple of inches short, I will have to purchase a small pillow to support my head while reclined. No deal breaker. I've done this before. I would have liked to know this beforehand, though. Otherwise at 5, 11 and 200 lbs, the chair is plenty big enough for me. The chair is comfortable with just enough firmness, but with plenty of cushion. The retractable footrest is fine and hits my legs in a comfortable position. If you are considering this chair, other than the height of the back, I find no cons, and would highly recommend this one. Hopefully, all my time and research will pay off in saving you some time.     • For the price you can’t go wrong!
For the price these chairs are spot on. They are secondary chairs in our living room. The seats are firm, which I personally like, but I’m sure that after they have been broken in, they will soften up. They Also offer good lumbar support too. I am 5’7” and if I slide my butt slightly down the chair, my head rests comfortably on the back. Anyone shorter than 5’7” will find these chairs plenty large enough as the seat itself is pretty deep. Although that these are a smaller recliner, they do not look small in the room. The install was simple. Took me around 10 minutes for each chair. There is no way to wash the cushion covers as they are attached, so I brought a couple of cans of Scotchguard to protect the fabric. It would be best to place these chairs between 2 to 3 feet away from the wall so when reclining, they won’t get obstructed. I was also pleased that the legs were brown. In some pictures they look black. I think that black legs would have cheapened the overall appearance. I am intrigued to see how durable these chairs are. I’m expecting that they will last me a fair while as they are only decorative pieces that will have light usage. First impressions were fantastic. Well packaged and not damaged.     • It’s decent, with a few flaws
This chair looks exactly as pictured, and it’s the perfect size for my needs (I did measure carefully and looked for a smaller chair). I love it in the general “feet up” mode where it’s just reclining a little, but as other reviewers say, it isn’t very easy to get into or stay in full recline mode. If you move an inch while reclined, it will slide back upright again. It doesn’t lock in place in any way. Other than that, it’s a nice little chair and it was a snap to assemble. My cat immediately claimed it, but he does let me sit in it every once in awhile. It doesn’t feel super-sturdy like the larger recliners, but that’s to be expected given the size/price point.     • Compact, nice looking chairs for a small space

I wanted two small chairs that recline to use for watching TV or reading, and these work for me. The color is perfect for my room, and the size is exactly what I was looking for. It took maybe 16 minutes from opening the box to fully assembled. You only have to screw on the legs and push the back into place. The directions were extremely clear, and the chairs were very well packed. I read several reviews that said they were difficult to push back to recline, and I don’t agree. I had no difficulty pushing them into the reclining position once I figured out how they worked. I will say that if you are over maybe 5’ 5”, they might not be the most comfortable for you. I’m 5’ 4”, so they work for me. The cushions are firm, so I put a throw pillow on the back for a little extra comfort, but I think these are great for the price. ... show more

I love these chairs for the price. I have 3 of them total. Bought one in 2021 that I still have and bought two more in March 2023. The only problem is my one in 2021 never got any pills, but the ones I got this year pill SO much. See pictures. Idk if they changed the quality or what. Even after using a little machine to take the pills off they still just don’t look as nice as they once did, and it’s only been 4 months since I bought them. First of all this chair was very easy to put together. First screw the legs in, next attach the back cushion to the base. (Metal attachment) and that is it. The instructions say you need two people but I had no problem doing it myself as the back cushion is really light. The box itself was really heavy but I turned it upside down and dumped the parts out. The chair is firm but comfortable. It does not provide lumbar support which I prefer but I fixed that with a small pillow. I am 5'6" and I wish the back was a little higher (nod off higher)... I have to scoot down a little to support my neck. The foot rest of the recliner stops a little past my ankle which works for me. I got this to go in my bedroom and for me it is more then adequate for a bedroom. ... show more
