a fun blast from the past for our living room
I didn't expect much when I first plugged this little stick into the back of our TV, but it turned out to be a really fun way to spend a Friday night. Setting it up was basically just plugging it into the HDMI port and finding a USB slot for power, so we were up and running in maybe two minutes flat. It’s tiny enough that you don’t even notice it’s there once it's connected, and it doesn't take up any extra shelf space, which is a huge win for keeping our entertainment area clutter-free. The controllers feel decent enough for casual gaming and it’s pretty cool having wireless freedom instead of being tethered to the screen like I remember from growing up. We’ve been scrolling through the library and finding all sorts of classics that I haven't thought about in years, and it works perfectly for some quick co-op sessions when we have friends over. It’s nice to have something that’s essentially plug-and-play so we don't have to deal with complicated installs or updates just to jump into a game for a few minutes. I will say the controller build quality is on the lighter side, so I’m just careful not to drop them on the hardwood floor. Also, you'll need to have a couple of AA batteries handy since they aren't included in the box. Other than that, it’s been a really simple way to bring some nostalgia into the house without spending a ton of money on a high-end console. It does exactly what it says on the box and honestly, that’s all I was really looking for. ... show more

Play with the whole family anytime.
Upon receiving it, I immediately plugged it into the TV to try it out. It was quick and easy to use, even for those unfamiliar with this type of device. Almost all the classic games I'd played before were available. Initially, I just wanted to try it out briefly, but I couldn't stop playing! It really brought back memories of playing games in front of the TV. The picture quality was clearer than expected, and it was still comfortable to play on the large screen. The controls were also very smooth, without any noticeable lag. The included two wireless controllers are very convenient, freeing me from the constraints of cables and making it more fun to play with family. On weekends, my family and I would take turns playing different types of games, creating a lively atmosphere with both cooperation and competition, and we laughed throughout. The joysticks are comfortable to hold, and the button feedback is natural, allowing for smooth operation in action and fighting games without needing to readjust to the controls. Even after playing for a while, the overall operation remained stable, without any issues affecting the gaming experience. ... show more

A Fun Way to Revisit Classic Games
I bought this mainly for the older games I grew up with, and it has been fun going back through the game library. Setup was simple, just plugged the stick into the HDMI port, connected the power cable, and paired the wireless controllers. I was playing within a few minutes. The controllers feel comfortable to hold, and the wireless connection has been responsive during the games I’ve tried. The menu is easy to browse, and having so many games in one place means there’s always something different to play. The picture looks clear on my TV, and the included memory card and accessories meant everything I needed was already in the box. ... show more

Easy to pull out for a quick game
This has been staying plugged into the TV in the family room, so every now and then someone grabs a controller while we're waiting for dinner or just have a little time to fill. I don't usually go looking for anything specific anymore. We scroll for a minute, recognize a title, and that's what we play. One thing I started doing was keeping a short note on my phone with the games everyone liked because there are a lot to browse through, and it saves time the next time we turn it on. The controllers have been comfortable enough for longer sessions, and I like not having wires stretched across the floor when more than one person is playing. most night it turns into twenty or thirty minutes without anyone really planning for it, and that's become the part I've enjoyed the most. ... show more

more organized.
I hooked it up to my TV, and while the games themselves are obviously old-school, the HDMI output makes everything crisp and clean. the wireless controllers are. No more tripping over cords or sitting close to the tv. The library of preloaded games is massive, though i wish menu was a little more organized. This console is a fantastic way to relive childhood gaming without the hassle of hunting down old hardware. ... show more

Fun Retro Gaming Stick
I bust out this retro game stick on weeknights and weekend afternoons when my family is in the mood for casual entertainment. It plugs directly into any screen with an HDMI port, working with our living room TV, bedroom monitor and portable projector with no additional setup steps. The two wireless controllers connect using the 2.4G signal, so two people can play side-by-side without tangled cords stretching across the floor. The built in storage holds thousands of classic titles, spanning across dozens of old game systems I grew up with. The 4K output makes sprites and level details look crisp on modern screens.Switching between emulators loads in no time. We’ve logged hours playing co-op platformers and arcade matches and the controllers remain connected without any lag during fast-paced gameplay sessions. When finished playing, the compact stick is put away in a drawer with little storage space needed. ... show more

Great for Casual Game Nights
This little console has been a hit during a few evenings at home. Having two wireless controllers included makes it easy to jump into multiplayer games without dealing with extra cables. The controllers responded well, and the joysticks felt comfortable while playing fighting games and classic platformers. I like that everything is already loaded onto the system, so it’s simply a matter of plugging it in and choosing a game. There are plenty of different emulators available, giving a nice variety of games to explore. The compact design also makes it easy to move between the living room TV and a monitor in another room. It’s been an enjoyable way to revisit older favorites. ... show more

Let me rediscover my childhood memories
This wireless controller for the game console is very convenient to use, freeing you from the constraints of cables and making it even more fun for two people to play together. The buttons are responsive and react naturally when controlling the character, making it easy to use even for extended periods of play. The screen display is clear, and the overall experience is quite good when connected to a TV. Both adults and children can easily pick it up and play. I really like the plug and play design; no downloads or additional settings are required, and you can start playing anytime you want. It's perfect for family gatherings or when friends come over for a chat, filling the house with laughter and increasing interaction.
