Honestly if I just had this microphone and the attached speaker separate it would be amazing. The speaker on this mic when playing the music is loouuudddd which is great but having it that close while singing was a bit much. I think I want a speaker and separate mic.

This is a very solid made product , I bought two other ones and they were very light and cheap like a kids toy, this one is built very solid, and the sound quality is very good, and the buttons help to make the sound perfect!

The mic had a nice quality feel and the disco ball part was cool but sadly the sound was lacking. I think the idea of the combined speaker and mic just doesn't work. To truly test the sound ask someone to hear you say a phrase across the room without the mic then say the same phrase with it on. Barely any difference. Volume was just too low even in a small living room of an apt. I got a PA style karoke machine instead much better. ... show more

I had ordered a different microphone/speaker, and the sound quality was horrible. This one cost a little more, but it was well worth it. The quality and sound is soooo much better! It was a definite upgrade and a good buy.
