There is no scientific method behind this review. I’ve built a lot of computers over the years, including plenty of difficult builds, and for the aesthetics this case delivers, it is absolutely worth the extra effort. Overall, I would rate the build complexity as moderate. You need to pay close attention to the dimensions of your power supply, because the PSU compartment is very tight. Cable management can also be challenging due to the power supply being mounted at the top-front of the case. That layout does come with a purpose, though. It allows the case to maintain its relatively narrow footprint while still providing the front and side glass-panel aesthetic that makes it stand out. The front I/O options are solid, and I especially appreciated having a USB Type-C port available. Overall, the juice is definitely worth the squeeze. It may require a little more planning and patience than a traditional case, but the finished build looks fantastic. ... show more

For over 25 years building DIY and custom PC's i have to say every day i look at this case, what a masterpiece, i mean the clear front and side glass makes it easy to see your investments, wire management is simple , the white bright fans,, front IO, those big 140mm rgb fans are so bright and move so much air, their quite, i have no negatives to say about this case, its designed for all DIY builds, i have a few more component's to buy to match this white build but for what i have so far, just makes my day every time i turn this thing on i hope Geometric Future makes more products their design dream knows how to keep a smooth great looking product ... show more

I have been building computers for over 40 years now and I have had a lot of different cases with a gaming theme. This one is one of my favorites and it is very easy to build in and make changes afterwards which always seems to be the case after I complete a build. If you are considering this PC case, it's likely for the aesthetics. The designers of this case made some choices that make this case no way viable for a first PC build. And the videos out there about this case are sparse and highly edited. In order to make this case work for you, especially if you are going to put an ATX motherboard in it, get enough tie wraps, argb extension cables, and definitely some pwm extension cables. The power cable routing is really really tough and bad. I posted a photo of my preliminary build, before I had to go in and clean it up, but I wanted to show you the cramped space that you're working with inside this case. Putting the power supply up top sounds like a cool novelty, and that's exactly what it is, a novelty. You have to route your cables in a very very specific way to make your build work, and that is what the designers of this case intended for you to do. If you don't know exactly what you're doing, you're going to come out with a mess, like I did it first. It's a beautiful case, and it's easy to take apart with it's no tool assembly. The case has excellent airflow, and has a little tray for you to display whatever you want on it. An awesome case with a lo-fi vibe

I wanted to build a new PC, so I needed to pick a case. I was going to choose the least expensive case I could find. But most of the cases I saw used a lot of RGB lights and screens which didn't appeal to me. Then I saw the Geometric Future Model 5. The lo-fi vibe and slightly steampunk looks were much more my style. Still a good value especially since I got 5 pre-installed fans. The layout made assembly a little challenging (this is my first build) and, after a couple of rookie mistakes, I finished this build and I'm so happy with the results. It looks awesome and performs just as well. This case is solidly constructed and worth every penny I paid. One negative note, this is the second case I received. The first one arrived with some minor damage, however a new one was sent within a couple of days. But otherwise I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend the Geometric Future Model 5. ... show more

Love this case. The airflow especially with the fans are great. I'm lucky though since my psu is standard size so I can just pack the excess cables in the psu area.

There are plenty of reviews you can find online for this case (Kitguru, Robeytech, PCMag etc.) and you ought to look at them before you buy. I’ll agree with some and disagree with others. First, this case is NOT difficult to build in if you buy a SMALL power supply – I bought a SFF. People complain about not having enough wiring space – I had no trouble – maybe it’s because I planned everything before I started (thanks MaximumPC). I’ve never had such a clean looking build before (look at the pictures) and I’ve been building PC’s for a long time. Yes, you will have to take out one of the lower fans to access the fan/RGB headers depending on your motherboard (and if you buy the case with the fans included…obviously) but that’s pretty standard. Yes, you may need to run your wiring a different way than you have before (assuming you have done previous builds) but if your power supply comes with short cables you don’t have to buy extensions or specialized cables from MODDIY. I ran the GPU wiring over the GPU rather than under because the Gen 5 12VHPWR PSU cable that came with the power supply was really short (sorry Corsair) – but the power supply is right there, so it’s not an issue. Yes, the shipping packaging is not great – the first one I ordered came with the plastic bottom broken, and the second with the RGB on the back fan not functioning. Amazon replaced the first and Geometric Future replace the fan (I received 3 fans a couple of days after I posted the problem to the seller’s comments – I’d say that’s pretty superior customer support). I may have just been unlucky, but I thought you should know of my experience. Yes, there are some minor misalignments (e.g. the thumb screw on the power supply bracket does not line up very well... as noted by Kitguru) but overall, the build quality is very good, the case is sturdy, and the finish is stylish. I've had no issues with cooling and consistent with online reviews, air flow is excellent. The bottom line, you might have to use your brain a little bit, but once you’re finished, you will have a great looking machine inside and out. Highly recommended. ... show more
