This smith machine/functional trainer is great for the price-point. It was easy to put together and all parts were clearly labeled. The bench is a little awkward because it folds in the middle and seems just a few inches too tall, but works well regardless. If I was to purchase again I would buy just the machine and buy a separate bench. The pulleys are smooth and the guide rails for the smith bar and weights are smooth without any binding issues. The machine does have a wobble to it if you force it to move, but it doesn’t affect the function of the machine. Time will tell if it will cause issues in the future. But let’s be real, if I was looking for something to last many years I probably would have spent more money. For the average person creating a budget home gym it is a great addition. I purchased the bumper plates and barbell from a different vendor to save a little money.

I received all the packages, but I’m missing two parts, the smith machine slider (there’s supposed to be two of them, I only have one) and I’m missing the accessories hooks! I can’t finish putting it together without the other smith slider attachment, so that’s frustrating, because I could have it together by now! I did reach out to jelens, hopefully they will get back to me with these missing parts? Can’t give full star review yet. Otherwise, when I receive all the missing parts I will give an update! Update: April 7th, 2026. I did get all the boxes, but I’m missing one of the carrier slides for the smith machine ( there should be two), and I cant finish putting it together without that piece. I also can’t use the smith machine without that part (part D5)! I’m also missing the steel hooks for the accessories (part F5)! But the most important part is the carrier slide for the smith! I reached out to Jelens, will give update. Update April 9th 2026: I did find the other slide carriage, that was my fault! It was difficult to put together, but since I’ve tried it out, I can say it’s decent for a home gym! I gave three stars! It’s definitely strong and solid, but like others have said it does shake a little while using the smith machine, but I feel like it’s safe! But it will take some getting used to!
