The "hardware" part of the Telescoping Pressure Washer Wand seems pretty tough and well made. The extra adapters came in handy. It made power washing the upper floor and gable-end of a two story house easy. The clamps are sturdy and hoses seem beefy. The only thing I would say about the hardware is the handle needs a locking mechanism. Other than that the "hardware" is great... I wish the shoulder harness was bigger in every direction.. When I (Large shoulders and chest) put the shoulder straps on I could not get them off without help.. Snapping the waist band was not even possible because it came down to the bottom of my chest. The equipment strap was nearly on the back of the shoulder straps and the trigger/handle is a good 20in behind where the things snaps to the harness. I realize keeping the price down causes some corners cut. I am glad they took the short cut on the shoulder harness and not the hardware. Be prepared to get a shoulder harness that fits you.. if you have to use this for very long.

This extendable wand is very handy for reaching high points from ground level for pressure washing. I had no trouble reaching the second story of my house, and even reached near the very top of the chimney with cleaning pressure almost 30ft from ground level. It's a sturdy tool; not flimsily made, however it is a bit unwieldy as you extend to the furthest length. Takes a little practice and work to tame it and to manage the hose and fixture clamps. If you don't need to extend it fully, most able-bodied people will not have difficulty operating it. The shoulder harness is somewhat helpful in supporting some of the wand's weight too. Get ready for a good shoulder and upper back workout if you have a large task to complete. Then enjoy a job well done -- and money saved.

I bought this powerwasher gun to clean my gutters and my siding. I read the reviews beforehand and people were complaining about getting wet (yes you will get wet), a finger pinch from the trigger (yes this is a valid criticism, happened to me, but you learn to move your finger), and being heavy/hard to move around (yes it is heavy but it is well built). You should use the harness, but after a while i stopped using the harness as i felt pretty much in control of the thing. Just take some time to practice with it AWAY from your house for a while. turn it on /off/on/off to see how it moves. I wanted to clean one 2nd story gutter and one side of my house (over some bushes). WOW was that cool. worked so well i just kept going and did the entire back of my house very quickly. Need to be conscious of where your feet are and any overhead lights (edison), or trees etc. I thought it did very well and am very happy with this.

So far so good. Seems to work as expected. Will update if things change. Update 11/21 Reduced to 3 stars I have since figured out that while the connections and tubes may tolerate 4000PSI it will try to bend at 3800 with just 2 extensions. It is also very hard to control. I lengthened it to be able to get to my gutters and blow them out with a hook end attached with 2 of the extensions. I had to use both hands and it was almost impossible to control with that much pressure overhead. Maybe if you weren’t going up in the air with it, it would better but I doubt it. It put so much pressure on the wand handle that it bent it ever so slightly. The tip moved a good 5-8” from a straight line when engaged (the bend). Impossible to use with 1 hand. Don’t have high expectations of being able to extend your reach with a high PSI. Probably around a 1,000 PSI or lower would be better. I don’t have a pressure regulator on mine so I can’t tune it down.

Did what we needed, good value. I used 5 sections for 6 feet of additional reach with my tip-mounted pressure washer, which for me was a good compromise between reach and awkwardness. Using a tip washer on anything this long is going to be hard to handle, but it helped me reach just far enough to clean our pool enclosure. We used the Zep cleaner straight up, which did a good job cleaning off the rain marks, crud and mildew. Be sure to keep the O-rings clean and lightly lubricated (e.g vasoline), and be careful not to pinch them when you're fitting the threaded ends together. Tightening the coupling will NOT fix a leak - good O-rings make a pressure tight seal that does not depend on the tightness of joint. If it leaks, the O-ring probably got nicked during assembly so use one of the conveniently supplied replacement O-rings.

I used these extensions to clean the gutters without getting on a ladder. I used one set with a pressure washer to clean the first level of gutters. One tube bent slightly, hence one star deduction. But the extention worked great no leaks, easy to use. I purchased a second set screwed them together and used Ties to temporarily attach the extensions to a painter extending pole for stability. Attached a adjustable garden hose nozzle and I was able to clean the debris from the second story gutters without getting on a ladder. I have knee issues so I try to avoid a ladder as much as possible. You can easily hear a difference when junk is flowing down a gutter down spouts versus clear water.

It appears to be sturdily built, with steel tubes that are almost the same thickness as the standard tube already mounted to the water gun on my gas-powered pressure washer. Use a pair of wrenches to tighten the couplings between the tube sections -- just enough to finish screwing the nuts together, but the rubber washer ensures that you don't need to go any tighter to achieve a good seal. There were no leaks, except a slight dribble where it fits into the quick-connect coupling of my water gun. I've got a pretty powerful pressure washer (3400 psi, 2.5 gpm) so there's substantial recoil when you pull the trigger, which is amplified by the long leverage. Point it away from the surface you're cleaning, so you can absorb the recoil and then move the nozzle to your work area in a controlled manner. This gets me to the middle of my 2nd story. You can get a better and longer telescoping lance for $100 or $200 (including a harness), but this was good enough to clean all of the siding that looked dirty.
