It took my boyfriend and I a little over an hour to put it together and voila! A few notes: 1. The mattress here is 8in and there is a bit of a gap in the back. I’d recommend a 9.5 in or 10 in if you do not want that gap. 2. The drawers are not attached to the bed in any way. They move around a bit on my hardwood floor when I open/close them. 3. The directions are all images; no words. We figured it out but just FYI.

I'm a 68yrs young, disabled woman. Ordered this for TV room and over night grandkids. It arrived just as it was promised. Biggest problem I had was getting it in house by myself. Took my sweet time putting it together. Followed directions, took naps, and in 6 hours I was done. Ordered a mattress. It was delivered few days before. Left it in box till bed was here and up. After mattress was on it took another few hours to totally expand. I really love this day bed. But now I Ordered some bedtimes. Just too low for these old bones to get up off of. I highly recommend this day bed. I liked it because of the padded back. Thought others would be very uncomfortable for people sitting on it to watch the television. But I also recommend the risers. Easier on us old folks.

Arrived very well packaged on time. The only problem is it would be very difficult for some customers. There were “ No Instructions to put merchandise together”. Thank God I had pictures to look at. I would recommend the daybed to members . It is beautiful as merchant described however kind of fragile.

not impressed.. while not difficult for a mechanic, this is not simple to assemble. the build integrity is marginal at best. the wood is VERY soft, and deformed while tightening by hand. the screws for the drawer bottoms are aligned strangely. the manufacturer pics do not show the screw heads as visible on the drawer fronts, but are clearly visible on my assembly (see pics)…kind if an eye sore. the mattress support slats are spaced pretty far apart…i purchased additional slats at hardware store for more support. near the end of assembly, i noticed that the drawer fronts are a different color than the bed frame, almost like they were primed but not painted. it doesn’t show up well in the pic, but it’s VERY obvious and very much an eye sore for me. if not for the amount of work to disassemble and repack all of it i would return this in a heartbeat. good thing this is a first bed for a toddler who doesn’t weigh much, because i’m not expecting this to last very long. just more cheap junk that seems to be overtaking amazon.

shipping was delayed and the 2 packs arrived several days apart. Press board was split. My kid wanted the bed too much to return. very easy to put together. stronger than it looks even with split piece. so.e hardware was missing couple bolts and screws. The edges are kind of sharp. like the drawers.
