This bed is solid and you can't go wrong with solid wood. It looks amazing. I know it will last a long time. However... It did take 2 guys a long time to build it and with so much complaining. I am usually the one who puts the furniture together and I've never had issues, but this bed is heavy and my husband and brother-in-law insisted and so I let them do it. At one point they realized that they had something the wrong way and had to take it apart again but I couldn't get a clear answer as to why. SO ... I cannot say for sure that it was the bed or even the instructions. LOL. But I am very happy with the end result and would definitely recommend this bed!! As long as you are someone who is prepared to put together a very heavy bed ... maybe get some help cos it does look like a 2 man job :D ... show more

    • Hard to put together
Turned out so pretty but took forever to put together. Theres little pockets you have to screw little tiny screws into that are extremely hard to get to. Prepare to spend majority of the time hand screwing them in.

Ok. So. We didn’t give up even though we wanted to many times. We were cursing while putting this thing together many times. The angles that you have to hand screw things in to are really hard on your hand and your psyche. We have power tools too, all kinds, but the angles of this made it so you couldn’t use things that would have made it so much easier to put together. So it was very frustrating. If you don’t mind taking 4 hours to put this together (and that was with 2 people) then go for it. It was mentally and physically exhausting though. But pretty once it was put together and the quality was pretty good too. There were splits in the wood on the headboard but it wasn’t super noticeable so we just kept it. ... show more

I want to start by saying there were a lot of choices for this price point. The main reason I purchased this one, the weight capacity was listed at 600lbs. I felt like one that would withstand 600lbs would be sturdier that one that only supports 250lb. *insert shoulder shrug* Anyway, this bed was delivered by FedEx, in the pouring rain. I never got the notification so it sat in the direct rain for over 5 hours. I was fully prepared to be disappointed when I was able to get to the box. To my surprise 90% of this bed is real wood and was easily able to be wiped down and assembled without issue. There were a few pieces of mdf, but because of the way the bed was packaged they weren’t wet at all. Overall, this bed is perfect, sturdy and an all around great purchase. ... show more

This bed is cheaply made. We wanted to return it. While the seller was willing to accept return, we would bear the cost of shipping. Shipping was equal to the bed so we kept it. Beware!

    • My daughter loves her bedframe!
We had to upgrade my son to a big boy bed which meant hand me downs. He got my daughter's old bed and we purchased this one for her. She is 6 and I knew we weren't going to be buying her anymore bed frames for quite some time. It was super easy to assemble. My husband did it in less than an hour and the quality is pretty great considering it's price. We got the full size and it is great for my daughter to grow into. ... show more
