So I don't actually have a PS4, but PS4 controllers work on Teslas and I have a Y and wanted wireless controllers so I got these (I also tested it on a Macbook M1 and it worked great for a couple Steam games I tried). I included pictures of one controller by itself, controllers in the hands of a 6 year old and a grown man for size comparison, and connected to my car. The good: - the controllers paired easily with the Tesla Model Y. Just set the car to start searching for bluetooth devices then hit the Home button on the first controller and the car immediately showed it as available. Hit the connect button and it connected and the light on the controller turned blue. Did the same with the second controller and the light turned red. If you have a Tesla, in my case I had to disconnect my phone because it won't let you connect 3 devices on bluetooth at the same time it seems- then you can have both controllers connected. - the controllers must be sending the correct signal to identify what kind of controllers they are because the games all showed the Playstation button icons (instead of A/B/X/Y for the Microsoft Xbox wired controller I was previously using) - I turned off the controllers and turned them back on and they connected again with no hassle - When you plug them in to charge, the light pulses gently then turns off when they're charged The not so good: - The spring on the thumbsticks is stronger than the ones I'm used to. This was totally fine on a racing game, but on a game that sometimes requires small precise movements is a little harder because you have to push just a little harder to move the stick from the center. This may just take getting used to, I'm not sure. At least they're not sticky- they move very smoothly, much smoother than the old wired controller I was using. - I speak multiple languages so I understand how hard it is to write in another language, but the instructions are kind of tough at times. This isn't a huge deal because honestly how much do you need the instructions for a controller? It works similarly to other controllers so you can generally guess. But the "turbo" section I've read several times and have only a vague idea how it should work. They also let line breaks in the text happen in the middle of words, which doesn't help. - After playing for a while with two controllers, I noticed the controller with the blue light had the light turned off while the red controller was still lit red. The blue controller still worked but without the light it was unclear if it was on or off. I held the home button for a while and the car showed the controller disconnected but nothing on the controller changed. When I pressed the home button again, the controller came back on and the light was blue again. So far there are no deal breakers. These are decent controllers and at this price point I think they're a great deal. I'm keeping them in my car and getting rid of the wired controller I was using.
