I picked this up for my teenage daughter. She is fussy about everything (like a typical teen), especially jackets. She loves a good bomber so I figured we could give this a try. The jacket arrived super quick, neatly folded (with tissue paper layers) and packed in a plastic zipper bag. The first thing I noticed was that this had some nice weight to it! It's apparent when the jacket is folded up as it was on arrival but despite having a bit of heft, this really doesn't wear too heavy at all. The faux leather material is pretty nice. It's soft and has excellent movement, which is a big relief because you always run the risk of faux/PU pieces being stiff and crunchy. This also has a silky liner inside that makes it easy to get the jacket on and off easy, even over bulky clothes. The zippers all work, but some have smoother movement than others. The main zipper can get a bit jumpy, but this piece looks better open anyways. The cuffs, collar and elastic hem are nice and thick, but stretchy and comfortable. They are soft but can and do tend to pill a bit. The gray color and vintage wash really make this jacket look soft and cozy. It looks lived in and loved. I have do mention though that the faux material isn't super thick and it is going to crack and flake over time. I'm just a bit worried that this may only last a season or two. We will be lucky if it makes it to next year. And that's just with sporadic use as this isn't her every day jacket. But...at the affordable price point, I really can't expect much more. This is very easy to wear and thanks to the faux leather and poly liner not being the most breathable materials, this also keeps you nice and warm. While I wouldn't recomend this as a winter coat in the NE states, it's perfect for spring and fall. The construction is solid. The stitching, surges, hems, seams and material cuts are all clean, even, strong/studry and well done. My daughter is 5'8", 152lbs and 36B. She has a long, lean but athletic build. She wanted this to fit baggy and relaxed, so we sized up to a large. It fits and it's got that relaxed look, but doesn't look sloppy. The one thing that bothers us both, and I'm not sure if it's because of sizing or it's just the jacket, but the shoulders of the jacket fit and look a bit odd. They are pointy almost and don't sit flat on her shoulder/upper arm. I thought for sure that this was due to how the jacket was folded and just needed time to relax (which it has) but even after a dozen wears, the shoulder still doesn't lay quite right. Overall, this is a super cute bomber that is versatile and really cute. It's comfortable to wear and will keep you warm, especially on those chilly fall mornings/evenings. It's not a piece that will last forever, but that is reflected in the affordable price.
