Oh yes, this is The One. I have wanted an all season down alternative comforter for awhile now - no desire to have a real one with poking feathers that also costs a ton more! And this is soooo soft & sooooo white & sooooo comfortable! I’m in the process of painting our bedroom for the 1st time in decades & find myself totally over patterned bedspreads. The look of clean, bright white on the bed is classic. We have a King size bed, but I ordered this in the California King so it covers even more + my husband is a bed hog, so the more covers the better. I have no plan to put a duvet cover on this, mainly because I love the white & we have a front loading washer & dryer, so it will fit to wash just fine. I did the fluff technique in the dryer when it arrived & it worked beautifully - I use wool balls in the dryer & they help prevent clumping. I got this down alternative comforter in the “California king” size to go on my regular king size bed. I like my comforters to be larger than the bed because it looks better, and not many brands offer the down alternative in a California king size. I live in the south where it can get VERY hot, so I needed a down alternative comforter that wasn’t too heavy and wouldn’t make me too hot when I slept at night. This comforter is exactly what I was looking for. It’s fluffy and soft and comes with ties on the corner so I can put it inside a duvet cover without it sliding around. I love that it is box stitched so that when I wash it, the material inside doesn’t bunch up and become lumpy. Best of all, I can throw it in the washing machine. If you’re looking for a lightweight down alternative comforter, I would definitely recommend this one.

This particular comforter reminds me of some of the ones I used in Europe when staying with relatives. It is very light weight, but still fluffy and warm when it is cold, but light and airy when it warmer. This is truly an all-season comforter. The comforter gives you all the benefits of down without the feathers poking through, or the allergies if you have them. The comforter also has loops at the corner to attach to the inside of your duvet cover, so it does not move around inside it. We checked, and this will not fit in our front load washer, which is something to keep in mind for cleaning. It does fit in the dryer perfectly fine, and the manufacture suggest using tennis balls to keep it fluffed and aid in it drying. We are very happy with this and are going to purchase another one for the other bedroom.

This insert is really nice. I got this for my child because her room gets chilly from the AC in the summer but our winters don’t get too cold so the all season comforter was a necessity. I unpacked it and immediately washed and dried it. After it came out of the dryer it was so fluffy. After several days of sleeping and playing on top of it, it is still fluffy. She sleeps all night without kicking the covers off so it doesn’t seem to make her hot. She says she’s so cozy when we tuck her in at night. There was no clumping or shifting. The corner tabs are great too because they are close to the corners which ensures that the duvet doesn’t droop or move around a lot. We use a duvet cover but if you don’t the material of the insert is very soft and looks nice.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this down alternative comforter duvet insert. It's very light, fluffy and airy. You won't get too hot or too cold sleeping under this thing. This is definitely great for all seasons. I have been recommending this one to all of my friends and family that have mentioned being in the search for a new duvet insert. I can't say enough good things about this.
