I purchased the twin size option for my toddler when we travel to help him sleep. We have blackout curtains that suction to the windows which helps, but still lets light in around the top and edges of the windows so sometimes it’s not very dark for him to take a nap when we’re on the go. I had looked at a SlumberPod, but they are normally $200+ and only fit a pack n play. My child is getting big enough that sleeping in a pack n play at night is uncomfortable for him, so I wanted something larger that would last longer and ordered this. We set it up in our living room with all the lights on and windows open, once inside and zipped the doors I could not see my hand in front of my face, its totally blackout. The setup isn’t difficult, it’s like setting up a tent but does take maybe 7-10min with one person. The floor of the sleep tent has elastic around it so it can fit on top of a mattress, or sit on the floor. We purchased an air mattress for our toddler and slid it inside, it fit perfectly. One thing to note is that with the blackout fabric, there is no air flow. We put a box fan right outside the sleep tent and sitting inside, you couldn’t feel the fan at all. The doors have dual layers for blackout or a mess netting which is great for airflow, but you give up the blackout effect if only using the mesh netting. We put a small fan inside the tent on the floor and it was great, no issues. For a baby monitor, there isn’t a spot to put one like the SlumberPod. However, we have an attachment to our monitor that goes on the bottom of the camera and holds it in a metal wire with a clip so it’s very easy to attach and move around. We put the monitor at the top of the sleep tent on the posts and put the monitor inside the door, zipping it inside with the cord out and plugged in nearby. It was great, no issues. For parents with littles- this is 100% the way to go! Much more affordable than a SlumberPod, and will last longer as it’s larger and will last your child longer as they grow. You can still fit a pack n play inside, but it will grow with them.

Was desperate to find a safe sleeping solution for my autistic child as we’ve been through several of the Alvantor bed tents already as they are thinly made, popes break easily and several pole ends popped thru the fabric, kids easily tripped thru the screened sections or the seam where fabric of tent is sewn to the bottom part was easily torn. Wasn’t happy with their tent quality or their customer service, so I was desperate to find a better tent solution while waiting for a safety bed from our insurance. Pros: LOVE the poles being sturdier and on the outside of the tent. This makes the whole tent more secure and the child can’t get to them to break them. Nice dark fabric insures a good nights sleep even in summer months when it’s lighter lm out later Lots of options for screened sections in summer heat so it stays cooler with ceiling fan on Folds down to a super small size which would make it great for traveling / vacations etc Perfect for a college kid too! Cons: doesn’t have a “bottom” to it. Though my son has realized it mostly because the tent is tight once on the frame so when u install it over the mattress and tuck in under the mattress it’s quite tight. Now, that’s not saying a smart kid couldn’t figure it out and wriggle their way out my so far my 6 yo Houdini hasn’t gotten out that way. The zippers can be opened from inside or outside which of course is needed for your average person but if you are using this for a neuro diverse child then it’s an issue. I had to cut off all the cords attached to the zipper pulls and had to use locking caribeaners on outside zippers to make sure he could elope during the night while I slept. This worked great and was still super easy for me to unlock in a dark room when o needed to get him up for the bathroom, nightmare etc. I bought those caribeaners off Amazon as well. Overall, it’s working so I can sleep at night! Is it a true safety bed no, could small improvements be made by the company to make it an affordable options for parents needing a safety bed but can’t afford the $7000 -$15000 price tag yes!!! And I’ve sent in my suggestions to them and they were very responsive. Overall very happy! I haven’t slept in 8 years with 3 autistic kiddos and I’m happy to say day one out for f the box I slept the whole night thru which was the first time in a long time and MUCH needed.

My son asked for this, and we bought it. Honestly it is awesome. The materials are great, and construction and assembly were also fine. One of the best thigs is that the bottom is like a fitted sheet that goes over the actual fitted sheet, but the bottom is open. This helps so the entire tent does not have to be disassembled to wash the fitted sheet. It just lifts off the bed to change sheets. It will stand on its own also. We have it set up on his bedroom which helps keep the room looking tidy. He has also moved it to an air mattress for living room camp outs. Would buy again.

This sleeping tent barely had any integrity to it, after a week of being set up it started sagging and collapsing in on itself. While putting it together 2 snaps broke immediately before we could put them to use. My 8 month olds fingers got caught between the bed and the tent frame twice and it was painful and very scary for him. I've sense took it down and thrown it in the dumpster. It became more of a problem and/or a way for my 8 month old to injure himself. I thought it was safe for children, because in the pictures of the product the tent is very rigid and supported looking, and there's a mother and child in the tent. Worst product I've ever purchased from Amazon, I hate that I wasted the money and wish I would have bought something else useful instead of that hazard.

Really liked the idea of having my son have privacy and finally came around to building his tent. Easy to build, however the item didn’t fully fit on one side and ended up ruining the wood frame. Cool idea! a little disappointed with the appearance.
