The media could not be loaded. The chandelier itself is really beautiful. I really enjoyed the time that I spent for putting the jewels together. It does take some time like an hour or two to put all the crystals together. The seller was really patient about answering all my questions about the wiring . I did have to take the help of the handyman to put the chandelier on the high ceiling as I was alone but if you have a family to help it is doable ... show more

Well packaged, installation was a little challenging and time comsuming (took about 3 hours) but well worth the effort. This is a difficult chandelier to install, mainly because of the lack of detail in the instructions. I don't believe you should have to hire a electrician to hang a light fixture unless you have extremely tall ceilings. Here are some things that some of you will find helpful that I learned during installation. 1.) First issue, you have to dismantle it, before you can install it, so keep up with the screws. Be sure to shut off the power to the room from the fuse box. 2.) If you already have a dimmer switch installed already then you will have to remove the transmitter control box in the chandelier. Use a wire cutter to remove and pay attention to the wires. You will need the white, black and yellow wire in the fixture, so strip enough of the wire to expose the copper on each. 3.) If you are hanging in an existing ceiling fan block (white, black and red wires), you do not need the red wire, so just add a nut and put back in the ceiling. 4.) The bracket supplied with the chandelier is fine but unless you have studs in the ceiling by the light box, you will need to secure the bracket to the lighting block (use the bracket you already had there or buy another one). The chandelier is heavy and I doubt is very secure with just anchor screws into the sheet rock. 5.)Remove the overall frame from the lighting unit to attach the light frame first. 6.) If you are hanging alone, this will be difficult. I used fishing line threw the holes to hold up the corners as I worked with the wiring. Then I just cut the fishing line and pull the strings out once I secured the screws. 7.) The black wire is the hot wire. So secure black to black in the ceiling. If you have an existing dimmer switch already, secure the white and yellow wires to the white wire in the ceiling. The chandelier comes with a wire box but you can use wire nuts as well. Be sure to secure the ground wire first. 8.) Screw in a couple of bulbs and test the light fixture comes on and dims properly. If everything is all good. Re-attach the frame. Screw in the rest of the light bulbs. Then attach the glass balls. I am giving this three stars because it is lovely once assembled but it took hours to get this done. Also I had several glass balls crushed during shipping and the seller is sending me more without a hassle. ... show more

No broken pieces upon arrival, great size for our large seating area, dimmable as well as multiple light level options. On a regular wall switch you can flip one and off to cycle between upper ring of bulbs only, lower ring only or all on. I installed with a dimmer so the lighting levels are unlimited. Very nice looking and hides all the bulbs well. Instillation tip: hang the bracket, then remove the rings that the Crystal's hang from to install the base. This makes it much easier to screw the base to the bracket with the four decorative nuts without having to squeeze your fingers through the hanging rings. ... show more
