The color is gorgeous—I bought the teal one. The teal parts are a little shiny in a good way. I love the dappling of each of the colors because it semi-disguises fuzz and dog hair (I have a short-haired black and white dog) and it looks very high-end. My husband and I were both pleasantly surprised at how great it looks and it’s held up really well so far. No weird smell. Easy to vacuum. We sort of wish we put a pad under it for more cushion since we have hardwood underneath but I don’t think it’s super necessary. My dog loves that she finally has traction on our floors. It’s a decent rug. The gold does have a yellow tint and almost looks like a stain other than that it’s decent. It does the job. It also is pretty thin not much padding.
