We have 2 stacked awning windows in our laundry room and though I still wanted natural light in that room, I got this film to obscure the lower window. Not only does it prevent people from seeing into the house from the street for security and privacy reasons, but the laundry room isn't always the tidiest room in the house, so this also keeps our mess from being clearly visible too. Though this film does still let light in, I also only put in on the lower window to keep the top window glass completely clear. Installation was a breeze. I cut this to sit in 1/2 inch shy of the window size because I wanted to keep a clear frame of glass and not have the film run edge to edge. This serves the purpose of privacy, yet lets me still peek through the edge if I ever need to see out to the street (yep, that UPS truck just delivered our order). I've used these kinds of films before and upon unrolling the film, I was a bit surprised at how floppy this one is. Other films that I've used were stiffer and more like those thin plastic folders you put documents in. This one is markedly softer and floppier. This actually made it easier to work with, easier to cut and in the end, gives the same visual result. Spray generously because moving and positioning it is super easy if there's enough water on the window glass. I just used a folded dish towel to carefully press the air bubbles out to the edge. That took no effort at all, then I was done. Super happy.

These things are beautiful. Hands down gorgeous. I bought these for my apartment windows, since I live on the bottom floor of my apartment complex. I have a half underground unit, so my windows are ground level, and my unit is right next to our bank entrance. This means that if my blinds are open, I can see everyone, and everyone can see me. It was getting pretty depressing always having the blinds closed, so I wanted to get these to give us some privacy. I didn't expect them to actually work. I saw these sheets online, and saw all the Instagram posts of people's living rooms being filled with rainbows, so obviously I wanted them. I didn't expect them to actually work as well as they do. They look beautiful regardless of the light outside/time of day. They add a really pretty pop of color to every room in the early mornings, and they offer quite a bit of privacy. They don't completely block off our windows, we can still see outside, but everything looks distorted and blurry, which is the same for seeing inside. Except, from outside, since these tend to reflect light, you can barely see through the windows. It's wonderful, because we now have privacy. Putting these up was super easy, and they come off even easier. A little bit of water, a rag, and a razorblade was all I needed. I got one of the largest rolls offered because my windows are so wide (about 30ish inches) and the rolls covered them perfectly. I even had some extra at the end to do my smaller kitchen window. These are a super cute, functional way to spice up a dull room, and don't block out natural light. They're really beautiful, and super easy to install. They would made a great gift for anyone looking for some added privacy and color to their windows. 10/10 would recommend these to anyone.

Incredible! My front door was completely see through from outside and this was exactly what I was looking for so that the light still came through and kept it bright, but you cannot see inside. Super easy to install as well.

I had this film up for a year, and it would certainly have stuck around longer, had I not moved. đ
Back in my previous apartment, I had a tall window in my bathroom facing the shower and toilet. I needed something more than a curtain. I bought this because Iâm renting and this particular window is very sunny, so I thought the rainbow flecks would look pretty in a dull room⊠yep! I opt to up buying a second roll to cover another bedroom window that was facing an exterior stair entry. I was skeptical it would be as colorful since itâs in a dark space, but it did ârainbowâ for the few hours the light hit, and the distortion from the pattern was great for privacy. The install was easy! Follow the instructions and use a straight edged metal ruler if youâve got one. *It should go without saying, but measure the glass of your windows before buying.* I did one window, but didnât my second window, so I ended up buying more in a larger width. I moved after a year in my apartment and honestly a little bummed my new space had pre-frosted the bathroom windows. However, taking the frost down is even easier. Smooth removal and super quick! Renter friendly!

I moved into a new apartment and got this window film because my window is close to a street with quite a few people walking by. I was about to install it when I realized that I'm going to have to remove it when I move out. I got a little worried because the instructions don't say anything about how to remove this film when you're done with it. I did a web search and I saw some cases where people had to spend a few hours with a hair drier and a razor scraper to remove old film. If I damage my window trying to remove window film, I'm going to owe my landlord some serious money. I decided to just tape the film to my window because it's easy to clean up tape after I pull it off. The film doesn't stick to the window as tight but it's good enough for me If you're installing this somewhere that you don't care about being able to remove it, then I would say this is a 5-star product. It is easy to install and works as advertised.
