I’m rating this 5 stars because I’ve bought and used it before. If I were to rate my recent order, however, it would be 0 because I received an empty bottle. I mean a brand new bottle that never had any liquid put in it (my box and other items were dry, no liquid stains, etc.). So that was a bummer. These ratings are for reviewing the product, though, so I don’t want my order mishap to impact the star rating of an otherwise excellent product. Quality Control though? Negative stars. If you’re looking at this product, then you know how hard it is to find curly (or wavy) hair products that work well together and don’t add extra weight in the process. In a perfect world, our styling products would come with heat protection. This works as both a curl refresher and heat protection spray when diffusing. I really enjoy the texture and that it doesn’t impact my gel cast nor does it cause a cast on the days my focus is soft, bouncy curls. It doesn’t make my hair sticky, oily, weighed down or restrict me from performing my regular routine to style my hair. It’s very lightweight, smells wonderful and since my hair isn’t damaged, I’d say it does its job. I rotate between Luseta, Innersense and Curlsmith mostly for heat protection, but for refresh days when I need to use steam or diffuse; Luseta is in a league of its own. It does the job of several products in one bottle at a great price. I enjoy the style of the bottle itself, although with slippery and wet hands, I do frequently find my fingers sliding off of the spraying lever. That’s really the only con.

I have not lots of curl products and most do not deliver what they say. This however is great for my fine, thin hair. I use on damp hair as well as next day dry hair to refresh my curls. It smells good and makes my hair look shiny and healthy. Not a frizzy mess like usual

Combo heat protectant spray and curl enhancer/refresher.....I love a product that covers multiple needs. First off, if you're into aesthetics the color of this bottle is a knockout! The fragrance is very, very mild...not sure how to even describe it because it's not florally or powdery, it's very soft and unoffensive. I've used it on wet hair and I've also used it the next morning on dry hair before using a hot tool and it leaves my hair frizz free and wavy. I've never heard of this brand before but I'm sure glad I found it. The only con I have is the trigger spray is awkward to use on your own hair. It's great to spray on someone else, but I have to twist my wrist too much to spray it on my own hair. So I'll probably find a regular spray nozzle and change it out.

I honestly don't know if it helps any, but I use it anyway and absolutely LOVE the fragrance! Would love if they had gel or mousse that also had the same fragrance! I haven't noticed any shine, softness, or moisturizing difference and I do not color my hair, so I cannot speak to those effectiveness qualities and do not know if it actually is protecting from heat damage. Feels like it is better to be safe and use to prevent damage, since that's what it is supposed to do!

I ordered this by accident. I was looking for a new heat protectant and added this one to the cart before realizing it had coconut oil in it. Forgot to remove it and a week or so later, I needed some other things so ordered what was in the cart! When it arrived I was annoyed at myself, but figured let’s try it since it’s here and I have nothing else! My hair typically does not like coconut oil and the last couple of heat protectants i tried had it and it did not go well. Let me tell y’all, I am SO glad I tried it! For starters, it mists soooo well! So instead of feeling like I had to use half the bottle and really work it in with a brush to coat my hair, I was able to style and just mist it on each section with confidence that it was distributed well enough, and not be wasting product. It smells nice but not strong and shockingly, despite the coconut oil, it did not make my hair frizzy or straw-y like the last couple of heat protectants I’ve tried. I clarified and deep conditioned today, so my hair normally accepts products better after that. The true test will be if I have the same results the next few washes! But after today I’m really hoping I’ve found *my* heat protectant!
