All my life I searched for the perfect conditioner to detangle my fine, wavy/curly, dry & frizzy hair. At times, I had to cut out chunks of hair that would never come out without ripping. Then I discovered this shampoo during my continued search for detangler conditioner and it totally ended my search in one use. After watching videos by the brand & reviewers I kept hearing the term water activated on their products. Well, shockingly after wetting my hair, applying shampoo and then adding more water, I could easily cleanse my hair & scalp & easily run my fingers throughout my hair with the least resistance I’ve ever encountered, which in turn meant less hair breakage & loss. The shampoo rinsed out easily and I did use the conditioner but a very small amount was all I needed to soften & moisturize my hair just by adding more water to spread it all trough. Everything changed for me that day. I no longer had to struggle getting through even more knots that I used to create while shampooing. My detanglinv conditioner search is over for good.

I have 2C wavy, very fine hair. I took the quiz on the brand website and this was the product recommended. I love that the products are curly girl friendly. For a sulfate free shampoo, this shampoo produced a lot of lather. Far more than my other sulfate free shampoos I have used. However, I was nervous it would strip my hair but it doesn't seem to. My hair felt clean but still moisturized after using it. The conditioner had great slip. My hair tangles extremely easy and I need a lot of slip in a conditioner. It is difficult to find. It made detangling my hair a lot of easier. I did not like the styler in this set at all. It left my hair feeling sticky and tangled. IIt also didn't have a lot of hold. I've used it several times now and I will no longer be using the styler. I usually wash my hair every 5 to 7 days. After using this styler, I couldn't stand to go more than 32days before needing to wash it due to my hair being tangled, sticky and stringy. I would buy the shampoo/conditioner, but I would not recommend the styler in this set.

I got a perm. I didn’t know how to take care of my curls. So I asked someone that has natural curly hair and she suggested this product line. It made a big difference and how my curls stay looking curly and not frizzy!

I had several coworkers rave about this brand for their curly hair and I felt inspired after following an Instagram account where she rehabbed her curly/wavy hair. The smell is pleasant and you don’t need a ton of the product but it’s just not hydrating enough. My scalp was insanely dry and my ends seemed more brittle than normal. I don’t know that it made my curls that much bouncier or structured, either. I used it with and without follow up products like mousse, sea moss gel, etc. I think maybe my curl pattern just doesn’t work with it and I need more moisture.

I wish I wouldn't have got sucked into the advertising for this product...it is not worth it for so many reasons!! I washed, conditioned, and used the "all-in-one" step 3 on five consecutive occasions trying to give it a chance to work...waste of water, time and money. 1. When I ordered this there were 3 options to choose from, so I clicked on the Curly/Coily option and expected the product to be geared toward my curl type. Not so, the product I received said "all curl types". As any curly girl knows not all products work on all curl types. So to start with...false advertising. Funny enough when I clicked on the link before writing this review there is now only one option. 2. The shampoo, conditioner and "all-in-one" step 3 all have Shea Butter and Moringa Oil in it, which for any curly girl with thin hair should not be using too much of because it weighs the hair down. So you are putting both the Shea Butter and Moringa Oil on your hair 3 different times by using all three products. I have LOTS of extremely thick, coarse type 2C and 3A curls. This product even weighed my hair down. 3. Far more pricey than other options out there that work so much better and are available at local stores. 4. Bottles are made so that product comes out of the bottom of the tube, so if you try to set it down on a shelf after getting your product out without shutting it, it won't sit on the shelf due to the curved top. 5. Bottles are extremely hard to squeeze to get product out. If you have arthritis or carpel tunnel...forget even being able to squeeze these to get the product out without lots of pain. I wound up taking the lids off and putting them in a plastic bucket just so I could slam the bottles into my hand without the lids on to get product into my hands. Major inconvenience. 6. With hair like mine (type 2C and 3A curls) the step 3 "all-in-one" did nothing to hold my curls. They were very soft, but no hold and became frizzy very quickly. I wound up using my favorite hair gel after applying the step 3 just to give my hair some hold and frizz control. I did diffuse my hair after each time. I cannot air dry...get too frizzy! 7. I had to wash my hair more often when I was trying this product out due to the weight of the butter and oil in it. This is not good for my curl and hair type....dries out quickly with too many washings. Not only did I have to wash more often I also had to use my cleansing shampoo just to get rid of the excess butter and oil so I wouldn't have unwanted weight on my hair...which also isn't good for my hair/curl type and drying it all out. Will NEVER buy or recommend this product to anyone. I have learned my lesson and will stick with my favorite brand that you can find at Ulta and offers all different types of products for all different hair/curl types. Save yourself...DON'T BUY THIS!
